Paxton is a shite bag. No one is saying he isn’t. But Cornyn didn’t support the Save Act, and didn’t do what needed to be done to further the conservative agenda in the Senate. Cornyn was completely fricking worthless.
Now, I don’t give a crap who Paxton is as a person, he is a million times better than that heretic Talerico. I am a Christian and a sinner, but I recognize and proclaim God’s truths. Talerico lies about what the Bible says, and that is unforgivable. God will deal with him.
I’ll gladly vote Paxton all day long over that blasphemous freak.

It’s simple implement what “we” the people voted for, and stand by the President we elected, for his agenda. This could be our last chance to implement voter ID, because if the Democrats ever get power again, they will make sure not to ever relinquish it and this country is DONE.

The hypocrisy of Evangelical Christians claiming to be fighting a fight of Christian virtue while spitting on the Bible by supporting people like Paxton is great comedy. God, I can’t imagine stupider people.

You’re confused, the pos lost 1-1/2 ago to the good guy Trump. As far as Paxton goes he offered up the win if the Save Act was passed but that pos he is running against along with the other pos refused to do. So Paxton truly tried to help him

Paxton being a complete POS and extremist can easily turn off a to. Of conservatives who will simply stay home especially when the president is pissing people in the middle (conservative and liberal) off.
Trump is at like 35% approval right now. He’s going to bring down some Republicans in the midterms. I could see a bunch of Paxton people voting for Cornyn had he won the nomination. He sucks but he’s still a conservative. Paxton is a psycho and as an extremist, less people from the Cornyn camp will go out and hold their noses voting for him.
Can Paxton win? Sure. Texas is full of as many moral-less conservatives as similar democrats, but this is going to be a tough fight and Cornyn likely has a better chance.
