Abortion for the sake of abortion is horrible, and it takes pretty shite person to do this. I can understand rare occasions like incest, rape or health issues.

I’m conflicted about forcing a “shite person” to raise a child. Do they give it up for adoption? Do they just let the baby die? Do they turn it into a check from the tax payers? We know a lot (if not all) of the medical bills will probably be paid by the tax payers. If they keep the kid it will more than likely become just like them or worse.

Do we just hope and pray the kid changes the parent/parents into decent and productive citizens?

Or do I have a horrible interpretation on who is having all of the abortions?

The child has a right to life. You can conjure up 1000 hypotheticals and that doesn’t change.

I don't know what the final solution is but I know that slaughtering unborn children is the wrong direction.

You're not "conflicted on ... Roe v. Wade".

You're conflicted on whether abortion should be legal.

All Roe v. Wade did was invent a Constitutional right to an abortion out of whole cloth. THERE IS NONE. There never was. If you want a Constitutional right, then go through the proper procedure to amend the Constitution.

In the meantime, exercise your right to vote and vote for people who represent your positions -- including a STATE right to an abortion.

To say that you're "for" or "pro" RvW, simply means that you are for Justices legislating from the bench to achieve your political agenda because you realize that you cannot achieve your political agenda in a Constitutional manner.

Ask the vast majority of Countries who still have abortions as a crime how it is handled.. The US joins China and North Korea as one of the few that allow wide open baby killing on demand. Let that sink in.

Nothing in the OP has anything to do with the actual legal issue in Roe v Wade.

This entire debate should be taking place at the state policy level, not in discussing a SCOTUS opinion that doesn’t make abortion legal or illegal.

As MMauler said, you’re conflicted on the legality of abortion, not Roe v Wade.

if you believe life starts at conception and you believe in personal property rights.....well plain and simple...the baby has a right to be protected from others. No different than a 1 year old.

I had rather us taxpayers pay for someone to stay clean during pregnancy and have a safe birth and make the adoption process quicker and cheaper for those that qualify rather than to have people abort due to convenience or other bad decisions.

According to the webs, 135,000 babies are adopted every year with 1 million or more wanting to adopt. Many of which adopt babies and older kids from other countries.

I know a man who shared his story about being conceived via rape to a mother that was abusing drugs and grew up in an extremely toxic environment surrounded by this sort of thing. He's an incredible example of how life can find ways to thrive. He has an amazing will to live and shares his story with anyone that is willing to share. I recognize the odds were completely against him and he's more than likely an extreme example of a tiny percentage that can succeed in similar circumstances, but if one person can do it why aren't we willing to at least give others the opportunity?

What if someone decides to be a “shite person” when the child turns 2? Do we just kill the kid since the parents suck? Not the kids fault and a lot of kids grow up in that situation. The world is not a perfect place and there will always be parents that miss the mark but it’s never an excuse to kill kids.

Maybe they should just use birth control, abstain or at the very least some level of discernment about who they decide to have sex with. If all else fails- I believe that in most states, you can bring your baby to a fire station or police station.

A baby doesn’t have a choice about the parents who produced him; but the parents definitely have choices about whether to become parents.

I do not want more shite people to have more shite kids.

I do not want to have abortion as a solution to that problem.

show me where the constitution says the bill of rights applies to fetuses.

In colonial America abortion was legal until the first kick from the baby. Ben Franklin put a recipe for abortion in his American Instructor math textbook

most people would agree we do not want abortions. It is part of life tho, it has literally always occurred as long as we can trace back humanity. Making it a criminal act is just the religious folks trying to enforce their views upon the rest of society and should be a violation of church and state. non-religious people are majority pro-choice by a clear margin.

Dude this is easy.

Is the “fetus” a human being or is it not?

If it’s not than opposing this is like opposing any elective and/or cosmetic surgery. It would be stupid and frankly not your call.

If we have a baby, then it is murder. If the woman’s life is threatened then it’s self defense and good.

Every thing else is just so much prattle.

The only logical conclusion is that you know abortion is baby butchery.
If so why even put the tax burden in the argument? I mean if when can off a fellow human being to save a tax dollar, why not a retired human? We’re going to pay for them 20+ years!

Ill help you out. Baby Roe was adopted and has been living her life out in Washington State all these years. Jane Roe even reunited with her at one point or tried and eventually became a pro life advocate.

that whole case and trial was a sham.

All of your what-ifs boil down to child murder as a matter of convenience; either for the parents or society.
