Really?

That’s the standard?

See, kids, you can do drugs and be a professor, instead of a dirty lowlife with a needle in your arm, passed out on the bathroom floor of some fleabag motel.

Those are probably long for a reason.

Don’t need a coke spoon if you have a long enough nail.

Good for him, but let's not act like 99.9% of other people could possibly maintain the responsibilities he maintains while partaking in such a habit.

Look at those nails. When he takes a bit too much, the skin scratching might become an issue for this fella

a major part of his work is that we have created a perception of drug use that makes far too many people concerned they are capable of being addicts. there is also other really good work in this area (i'm pretty sure but not positive that it isn't from him) about what triggers increase the chance of addiction in a person

There’s no such thing as a casual 10 day heroin user

So nice, in fact, that he writes about wanting to take the drug ahead of “some awful required social event, such as an academic reception.”

It’s the same standard we use for alcohol

If you aren’t drunk/high at work, while driving, when performing hazardous tasks, etc. and it’s not negatively impacting your performance in work or life I really don’t see what the issue is.

They absolutely will. He's black. They've been conditioned to accept any absurd shite that any black person does as noble. Their minds are broken.

The sale, purchase, or consumption of alcohol is not currently a major felony. Despite some of yalls libertarian ideals it's currently very much against the law

This is the same attitude democrats have toward illegal immigration. They find it disagreeable despite being established law, so what's the problem

Before 2010, it was against the law to own handguns in Chicago. Just because it was against the law doesn't mean the law was wrong.
