I was wondering the same. I will have to find the talk and listen to it. Claiming Ukraine will collapse in x amount of time is a very bold claim. I find it hard to imagine anyone, esp Col MacGregor, would make that sort of claim during a war even with iron clad logic.

O-6 is a pay grade, not an identity. MacGregor is a colonel. As I understand things, colonels command brigade / regiment-sized units. Base commanders are often colonels.
My hunch is that Colonel is kind of the "sweet spot" in the U.S. officer corps, where a man has reached a rank that is far from a given, but is also not so high up that in the ivory tower that he just has to play politics all the time.
MacGregor was also a tanker, which is extremely relevant to this particular conflict.

The positive is if Russia wins it's on the hook to rebuild Ukraine. If Ukraine wins how many billions will we be sending to rebuild Ukraine.

If the West was really concerned about Putin moving beyond Ukraine, they would not empty their ammo arsenals and give away their top frontline tanks and equipment to Ukraine. They would be building up their own ammo stocks and start building real armies. However since they have no fear of Putin going beyond Ukraine, they can give it all away.

No doubt you have to respect a colonel, a military man and someone who had commanded.
But after they make prediction after prediction and they do not “hit”; then you have to wonder if the guy knows exactly what is going on.
Magregor has repeatedly made predictions that have completely missed their marks. Sure he may eventually get one right, but until he does I’m not giving him anymore credibility.
