I feel for the people of Ukraine, they did not ask for this. That being said, until Russia goes after a NATO ally this is not our problem.

Seems like there's a rounding error or something in there.

What next? Do we wash our hands or do the morons in charge double down and escalate things?
They definitely double down and likely get us into an active conflict with Russia.
They cannot allow Russia to move in and expose the money laundering state to the entire world with undeniable evidence that cannot be suppressed. They can't allow Russia to secure and release evidence about biologic weapon and gain of function research in Ukraine labs carried out and funded by the US.
In spite of what the warmongering Zelensky worshippers in the OT thread think, Ukraine has been putting up a fierce resistance thanks to my modern arms provided by NATO nations, but they are not winning, nor have they ever been. Before Ukraine completely collapses, the MIC will false-flag us into direct conflict. The ramifications of a fallen Ukraine are too great for them to allow.
ETA:
These threads are a bat signal to the OT thread warmongers. I see they're already here to downvote me en masse, but not refute anything i said with any sort of civil rebuttal. I really don't care about downvotes, but expression of your dislike of what someone says is pretty redundant if you won't even entertain being open minded enough for discourse.

Of the 20 do we assume 50/50 male/female remaining?
10 million males? How many are able bodied? 4-5 million?
Eventually they will run out of healthy bodies and Zelensky will ask for boots on the ground.

Yeah I agree, we see how they did whatever it took to get Trump out and try to erase any history related to his 4 years, and you get their mentality.
They don’t just accept a loss, and it’s not like they will send their sons into battle anyway

Yeah, he said when the war began there were about 37.5 million and now there are from 18 to 22 million left. That seems to be quite the exodus. He speaks to it very early in the linked podcast, but yeah there has to be a deeper story for the numbers to add up

Opposite of what DOD and the WhiteHouse are telling the American people… It must be true.

Only NATO troops can win this war.
NATO weaponry is great but will never be used with the effect and efficiency actual NATO troops could provide.
That's where this is headed. We are climbing a ladder.
We "must win" so what happens when the weapons are not enough to "win"?
We desperately need a cease fire to end the senseless slaughter on both sides and some serious diplomacy.
We are witnessing mass madness.

Ukraine will collapse in approximately 6 weeks
I'm old enough to remember when the "experts" told us Russia was going to overrun Ukraine in a few days or maybe a week or two...
Everyone who throws this Bullshite around conveniently leaves out the important part:
All-else equal, Russia WOULD HAVE overrun Ukraine without western(primarily U.S.) assistance.
Take away the logistical support, the foreign mercenaries, the munitions, and the BILLIONS of $$$, and Ukraine would have been TOAST.
Anyway, Col. MacGregor is correct: Ukraine is quickly running out of time.

According to Magregor the war was to be over before Ukraine received more aid from the West. They were to take Kiev in a week , and declare checkmate.

Let me see if I can help clear up what I posted. These are just estimates anyway.
Start with app. 37 million citizens TOTAL. Minus the 2 million already working out of the country. Subtract the over 4 million living in, what is now Russian territory. Then another 10 million that fled the country. An estimated 250,00 dead, (of which 100,00 are civilian). 35,000 missing presumed dead. Then the estimated 400,000 casualties, most of those will never recover to fight again.
Which leave "approximately" 18 to 20 million TOTAL Citizens. The 18 to 20 million left, includes children and old folks. Then out of those, how many "qualified" young "MEN" would be available, AND WILLING, to continue fighting?

No, Ukraine isn’t winning the war. I haven’t seen many if any people that said they were.
But the Ukraine has won several large battles.
First they stopped Russia from taking Kiev and forced Russian armies in that province back into Russia.
Then the won large battles to retake Kherson City and then another large battle around Kharkiv.
Over the last several months Ukraine has retaken more land than they have lost over that time period.
Right now Russia is slowly pushing Ukraine back around Bakhmut. Many are predicting a new major offense by the Russians. Some are predicting more Ukrainian counterattacks.
That’s how I see it.

I have a question I haven’t seen answered ITT:
Who the hell is Col. Douglas MacGregor, and why should anyone care what he says on any topic?

There are a lot of PhD’s on earth, and a shite ton of people who have worked for SecDef.
Why is this person notable or someone that anyone should pay attention to?

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy also expects many Ukrainians to go abroad in search of work. Now the unemployed in the country are 5 million according to the official local statistics. Destroyed energy infrastructure and frequent power outages are forcing people with small and medium-sized businesses to look for a way to move out.
The World Bank predicts that if the trend continues, 55 percent of the Ukrainian population will live abroad by the end of 2023, compared with 2 percent in the pre-war years and 25 percent now.
ALL the young women have left/leaving most never to return.
Men are trekking through the forests to escape, hundreds per day to Belarus.
As a bonus these numbers are low compared to reality.
