Trump hails U.S. exceptionalism before veering into darkly political speech to usher in America’s 250th anniversary.

quote:

President Donald Trump ushered in the 250th anniversary of American independence on Friday with soaring rhetoric about American exceptionalism before veering into a darkly political speech with warnings about a sinister threat of communism that evoked one of the country’s ugliest chapters.

“Communism is a mortal threat to American liberty,” he said from Mount Rushmore. “It is the greatest threat to our country, including World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor or even 9/11.”

Indeed, Trump’s language evoked the Red Scare of the 1950s, when alleged communists were persecuted and blacklisted from jobs across America, from Washington to Hollywood.

They then PRAISE a COMMUNIST.

quote:

In New York City, Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, delivered his own address that cast America as a nation of contradictions “working each day towards the perfection in which it was conceived.”

Joe Biden stood in Nazi colored lighting with military members behind him and told me White Supremecy, Trump, and anyone who supported Trump were the existential threat to our Democracy.

It wasn't "alleged" then and it isn't "alleged" now.

McCarthy was right.

Deny communism has ever been a threat then turn around and praise the communist mayor of the nation’s largest city.

Gotta love American Pravda. They are shameless.

Old original Soviet Pravda would be impressed with the shamelessness of American Pravda.

No its quite tasty. Basically, they never though the world cup tourist would come over a month before and realize how much better this country is compared to theirs...

The current era of the MSM applauding while the DNC and its paid minions promote political violence and outright murder is whole lot darker than a backbencher Sen clumsily grandstanding a made-up list. The only actual effect McCarthy had was to allow the MSM of his day to nerf a very real Communist conspiracy.

Gas lighting at its finest.

Mandani would shred the constitution in a heartbeat.

He’s 100% against opportunity, and 100% for government-run everything.

He’s the reason our constitution was created. Ironic they praise him.

He was right that there was an organized conspiracy but his utterly made-up list allowed Cronkite & Co. cover to write that conspiracy off as a hoax. He hurt the cause badly.

And we've recently seen the same story play out with a certain Senator and his "Epstein list".

I don't think one major legacy news channel had coverage for the July 4th activities this morning in and around the Statue Of Liberty.....you had to go to RSB, RAV, maybe Newsmax provided some coverage, not sure what other news channels were there for the 250th celebration this morning.

People bring this crap up today. We aren’t talking about communists in the shadows like most in the 50’s. Today’s communist in this country is self declared in most cases and gladly standing in the open. Their social media tells you who and what they are….
