The federal government is incredibly inefficient at damn near everything they run, so giving them a shot at running our healthcare system is not something I'm interested in doing.
Not to mention, we pay our government obscene amounts of money via taxes. We should hold them accountable for using the money they already take from us responsibly before we start bashing people for not passing bills for more healthcare funding.

Thats not even remotely true. Maybe for trans kids as that does come with true forms of mental illness but a lot of emo kids are no different than punk rock kids or kids into heavy metal of the 80's or any other rebellious group and most grow out of it. I didnt know any gay kids that had mental issues when I was growing up and they are all well adjusted successful adults. Some are even conservative.

The truck was his grandma's.
That's a good question for the rifle though. A DDM4V7 is roughly $1800. He could've gotten another AR for 1/3 of the price.
