Eyeliner, gay taunts, teased over apparel. Hmmmmm...
If the press doesn't watch out, we may slip on a banana peel and bust our head on the floor of truth.

Salvador Ramos was bullied because of his clothes, his poor family and the way he spoke
The young man was described as an 'emo' and wore eyeliner

25/05/2022

Salvador Ramos, the perpetrator of the massacre at Robb Elementary in Uvalde that left 21 people dead, was described by his former classmates as a failed and lonely student who was bullied for being poor and wearing eyeliner.

When referring to him, he was seen as an 'emo'. In addition, his speech problems made him a target of ridicule, according to the Washington Post.

Classmates indicated that Ramos endured homosexual slurs. In addition to other taunts because of the way he dressed.

I think We can all agree “emo” should show up on background checks.

I’m not sure WTF would happen if a boy wore eyeliner to my son’s school…it wouldn’t be good. First, it would most definitely be against the rules, second…he’d have to change schools if they even let him back in. They’d probably just kick him out on the spot.

Hunh. Guy with mental illness shoots up a school. Surprising.

Maybe we should address the underlying mental illness.
How bout dat?

Sounds like a perfectly good reason to murder children to me

The lengths people go to excuse deviant behavior knows no bounds

Is there a living person that hasn’t been made fun of or bullied/ridiculed in some fashion?

He shot animals as a kid, had a stutter, and murdered school children.

He was a psychopath, why are people making this about bullying? Pyschopaths of a specific phenotype will do crazy shite like murder dozens of kids.

I really couldn't care less about anything he endured as a child.

He shot 19 innocent children for no reason.

Granted this is my weakness, but I feel he does too quickly and didn't suffer enough. Maybe I will feel differently the more I think about it, but I am human and weak.

Soooooooo... high school? This isn't some unusual behavior. Kids are horrible to each other. In the micro this kid is solely responsible for his horrible actions. In the macro this is a community problem. Everything that has been reported about the guy screams that he had no positive male role models anywhere in his life.

So it took less than a week to turn the Transvestite who slaughtered little kids into the victim. They are getting good at this.

Anyone who thinks this little freak didn't dress in women's clothes and or identify as a woman at least several times in his life is a drooling idiot.

Need to keep pushing the shooter was a Trans angle, then apologize very quietly if it is dis-proven.

After all, isn't that how we play the game in 2022?

You often times seem campaigns encouraging people "if you see something, say something". But if you "say something" about one of the ever growing collection of misfit toys the left loves to prop up as "hero/victims" you are immediately met with accusations of being a bigot, racist, homophobe, xenophobe, etc, etc. That discourages people from "saying something" about someone who may be a clearly deranged threat.

Just about all of us on here went to high school. And EVERY high school had at least a few socially awkward and/or angry outcasts that if a poll were taken of "most likely to shoot up the school" they would win in a landslide. But rather than keep a close eye on those misfits in an effort to try to prevent something like this from happening, our society tries to make them some sort of victim-hero and attack YOU for suggesting they may be mentally deranged.

The warning signs are often obvious well BEFORE something like this takes place. Unfortunately, our society wants to ignore them in order to not hurt someone's feelings. Awesome, explain to the countless families whose lives have now been shattered forever that you didn't do anything about this misfit because you didn't want to seem mean. I'm sure they will understand.

Kids are assholes.
Teach your kids how to deal with bullies without becoming one.
Problem solved.
