“Issue?!” They’re BREAKING THE LAW.

Sure. Everyone breaks the law all the time. Sometimes it isn't enforced. California obviously doesn't see the illegal immigration situation as the crisis that you do. Not sure how much clearer I can make it for you.

Where in OP is there evidence of this?

So you think the City of Glendale is supporting the enforcement of federal immigration law with this action?

This is a pivot I already addressed

You're adding a lot of things without support to set up a basis to make that question relevant to this thread

The reason I asked is because California gives illegals driver's licenses.

Being in the country illegally is a little more serious than driving 6 miles over the speed limit.

It had very little merit and wasn't worth a response

and the conservatives in the state pay most of that

Why don't they want to leave?

I think we need to secure the border. As far as deportations go I think we should only be trying to round up the worst criminals first. Going after every random illegal is what leads to this type of backlash.

Is there an appropriate time to deport non-criminals?

I must have missed it. I unfortunately am unable to read every comment on this board.

Out of curiosity, what is your stance on illegal immigration? And how should the agency whose sole responsibility it is to enforce immigration and naturalization in the U.S. begin to wade through the current situation? Especially when faced with local municipalities refusing to provide assistance?

If California seceded, it would have a larger GDP than all but these countries

No it wouldn’t. US State GDP numbers are pretty stupid as they all rely on being part of an interstate economy.

I’m some theoretical exercise of what it’s GDP may be, you would have to consider the circumstances of why they are their own country and if they would retain the ability to trade like they currently do.

What a douche thing to type... are you implying Cali's GDP would be as much as it is without the full faith and backing of the United States?

Douche *and* ignorant.

I know you catch crap on this board, but I tried to genuinely engage you and give you the benefit of the doubt. My bad. Should have followed the rest of the posters on this site.
