I share the sentiment but until we withdraw from NATO we are obligated. And I'm sure the NATO Treaty lays out a withdrawal process that requires us to honor the treaty for 6 mths or a year after announcing intention to withdraw.

We are not dealing with 1940s or 50s NATO. Trump failing come to their aid after decades of approaching Russian sovereign land is kind of on them.

They want to continue to prop up Ukraine so their grift can continue. Trump has pulled military resources in response.

as much as the EU deserved a good comeuppance....
the European continenet does not need another war to drag the US in..... and as stated just below your post, the congressionally enacted Treaty that is NATO, would legally draw us in until the treaty is canceled......
....also, other then sending some drones and logging a few missiles into eastern europe, Russia has its hands full in Ukraine at the moment....

Maybe but he’s backed by Putin. UK is broken, Muslim issues at home, no military or arsenal to speak of, relies on Russian oil and has no heart, as seen in prior years

I could be wrong but if I remember correctly the treaty doesn't specify the level of military involvement. Send advisors and drones, nothing more.
