My only issue with this, is that Russia would have to go through some pretty based Eastern European countries to get at the pussified Western European countries.

This is the Kremlin thrashing about in the throes of admitting defeat in Ukraine. This is the most dangerous part of the process. The Kremlin is wounded and embarrassed; this is when they could do something crazy like employ tactical nukes.

Any more? They never have. If by not honoring you mean not paying their fair share.
If you're talking about them not letting us use their airspace, that was a dick move but is NOT an example of them not honoring the treaty. The airspace deal had nothing to do with nato.
The Nato treaty is very specific, and specifically does not obligate every country to 'back everyone else up no matter what'.
