Bulk pipe tobacco, an injector, and tubes. Takes a few minutes to roll a pack but you end up paying pennies per cigarette.
When I smoked I briefly considered rolling my own. Seemed like it’d be a neat hobby.

I used the word roll but it actually injects the tobacco into the paper tube attached to the filter. I've smoked non filtered cigs (and rolled my own a few times) but would much rather not. The injectors are interesting. At first it was manual and similar to swiping the carbon paper receipt for credit cards after loading a tube and tobacco into the chute. Now, they have electric ones (I use a single injector one) that you load tubes and tobacco in and press a button. Walk away and come back in a few minutes to dozens of ready to smoke cigs.

Junky, you’re making me interested in smoking again… I like gadgets!
Is what you’re making “cleaner” than a pack of Marlboro? That’s one reason I used to be intrigued by the idea, that maybe it wouldn’t be QUITE as bad for me.

I believe the UK just passed the same type of law recently. Obviously, NYS saw that and thought it was a good idea.

Brings up an interesting point. If banning smoking reduces health care costs and saves the taxpayer money then I’d entertain a ban on it. But it won’t because the gov will just spend it on other stupid shite. Also, what’s to stop them at a smoking ban?

I don't know what all the manufacturer's are adding but I get pure tobacco (some suppliers add a preservative or some shite; it gummed up my injector) that is harvested, dried, cut, and then packaged. I wouldn't call it cleaner but it might be.

I certainly would not start smoking for that aspect. Especially with smokeless options.

I was in Chicago in March for a week at a convention. Hanging out in a bar during the day and fely the urge. Went to 7-11 around the corner to get a pack. He said "its $21". I was wtf

Thank you, JF… I’ll keep quit, but I think your way is pretty neat if one does happen to smoke.

My two spinster aunts rolled their own. Filterless, too. Then they would apply for free cigarettes for answering some survey or something. They’d have these Chesterfields and once a day one would say, “Want to have a good one?” And they’d light up two Chesterfields.
Also, they used roach clips to smoke the last of their cigarettes. And they saved the butts and salvaged what little tobacco was left and rolled more with that.

That they were. We called them The Crazy Ladies. They had a built in bar in their den.

I wonder if they've thought about the tax revenue implications of that move? State and locals make a lot of money by taxing nicotine addicts.
