And if this literally isn’t the needle that moves America than you can officially stick a fork in us.

This is one hell of a campaign call and should be broadcasted every hour this weekend.

You can't trust Commies, ever.

You can't trust them there, and you can't trust them here.

They aren't even people.

Well...the price you pay to offshoring your production.

If only someone had warned about this.

Oh yeah...that bad Orange man did.

I’m to the point where I demand it. We cannot be reliant on overseas production of critical products like medicine, medical equipment, etc going forward.

It's not even about being overseas, its about putting it into the hands of our enemies.

I would like to see them try this. We would just stop all exports of food and let them starve.

No need to lose any of our nation's Sons over China. We can destroy them without firing a single shot. I mean destroy.

Exactly why we need to manufacture our own drugs.

Exactly. If we are America first, then we can not be so dependent on countries who are not allies of ours. Senator Rubio was correct today in his deliberation.

Wonder how much the Trump tariffs on the Chinese drugs are???

I would think many posters here would prefer to die than take a Chinese drug.

We're going to go to war with someone because they do not want to sell to us?

We put ourselves into this position.

Dumb move.

After this is over, USA will move yet more manufacturing out of China. That is more loss dollars for the Chinese Communist apparatus and military complex. With their rising middle class (lol of a rising middle class in a once hard core Communist country is f-ing amazing), that is an incredible political risk.

It makes the recent HK issues look like a NOLA Mardi Gras.

With that less that human threat China just lost all respect and we should bring back virtually all mfg from their dirty hands. Frankly they have just announced a war on American citizens and announced that they could and would sabotage medicines and compounds to poison innocent Americans. Frick their cheap made crap! Americans need to step up to the pump and make it themselves and pay for quality or farm it out to other countries.

Disagree. Critical supplies should be domestically produced.

Commerce with our allies is highly susceptible to market and trade impacts from China. The only way to assure our adequate supply is to produce and store domestically.
