Oh, and keep in mind......the EU instituted 25% tariffs on many US goods yesterday shortly before Trump made his "pause" announcement.

You want a list, or what? It's been obvious to me for 30 years that many of the countries our politicians touted as "partners" and "allies" are nothing but cronies and parasites, working to destroy this country using geeedy corporatists and corrupt politicians.

Did you just realize this recently?
Yeah, I just recognized yesterday after Trump's speech that China's trade practices are predatory, that they steal intellectual property, that they violate patents and trademarks with impunity, and manipulate their currency. Thank goodness Trump covered all of that. I was thinking about investing in Chinese companies, and really the Chinese Communist government as a whole. I thought they were the bee's knees, just yesterday.

But, but… Trump is smarter than everyone else in the world… no worries

Chinese EV's are reliable
That is an utter LIE! Chinese EV's are complete garbage. There are dozens of videos of Chinese EV's catching fire or malfunctioning on the internet. Look up Laowhy89, The China Show, Serpentza, or Chinese Observer for further proof. These are Westerners who used to live in China with Chinese families. They had to leave because their lives were being threatened by The CCP.

They fricked around and found out with Trump, no China is trying to make up some of the losses

I'd take the time, if I thought you were going to learn anything from it. So, no.

If they eliminate their tariffs for China, they had better remove them from the USA.
If not frick em and raise theirs to 159% too

The EU has a trade deficit as large as the US with china. EVs in particular are a sensitive subject due to the fact the chinese govt subsidizes their cars and the EUs economy is very reliant on their auto industry.
They have also tried to "de-couple" from china.
I highly doubt they will let zero tariff, govt subsidized EVs pour in from china.
Whoever wrote that article obviously did no research and is merely trying to display their TDS.
They cant write about inflation, cost of eggs, the cost of energy, the low unemployment, nor the 75 countries trying to get a deal with the US......so why not make something up and wishcast

Trump handed the EU to Xi on a platter. Its going to be a lot more than EVs.

Oh noz not the EU ans Chyna!!
Posted on 4/10/25 at 1:38 pm to trinidadtiger
The EU put large tariffs on Chinese EVs just this past October.
Would be very surprised if they are looking to remove them already.

End NATO immediately
This farce of pretending we share values with those blue haired figs needs to end.
They are on their own. I don’t give a shite if Russia bombs the hell out of them.

Trump exposed those figs as what they are - not an ally
All they do is fund hostile states for their own benefit while they expect the US to pick up the security tab. Who remembers Trump warning them on buying Russian oil?

Time for the America Free Trade Zone. The free flow of goods, services, and labor to and from any country in North or South American. No taxes or tariffs. Never understood why this wasn't a thing.

I didn't offer, you asked. I said no. You obviously think you have a pretty good idea already, so you can learn with the rest of the imbeciles.
Posted on 4/10/25 at 1:43 pm to mwade91383
Haven't you heard? We're the largest consumer in the world, so it really doesn't matter if we have allies and external trade because we're gonna trade with ourselves.

Just say you don’t know.
That’s not that bad of a take given how fast everything is changing.
