quote:

ICE agents have turned Nassau County’s fire stations into rest stops, pulling into parking lots to take a break from patrolling. Sandra Valencia, who runs a youth leadership program on Long Island through Rural & Migrant Ministry, an advocacy group, said that agents park outside schools after classes are released, frightening parents.

“Children of Republican parents have intimidated our kids,” Ms. Valencia said in Spanish. “They showed up to school with American flags.”

So, a Mexican kid showing up with the Mexican flag flying on their car is fine but not an American flag?

Yes. Only immigrant flags are allowed to be flown in this country. This country's own flag is racist.

Well, until this country's flag can successfully be changed to the Letter People Flag.

(And yes, this is a real movement on the left)

I want to make this as clear as possible: if this person thinks a flag is intimidation, they are not at all ready for what they're pushing the right towards and need to stop and think very hard about where this all goes.

People on the left have never lived in a nation where they are subjected to any consequences for their antisocial and confrontational behavior and thats empowering many of the issues we live with every day.

Mine did me and OFTEN. Looking back, I never got a whipping that wasn't deserved. Had it not been for his leather strap, I'd probably be in jail today.

Only took once for the belt but somehow the grabbing the ear or hair needed reminded over and over as a kid. Now mom was the worry as she would grab anything in arm’s length, hanger, broom, shoe / slipper but you learned back talking in the kitchen was especially dangerous when pots weren’t cleaned and put away yet

Tboy, VOR, and Decatur are saying the American flag is a dog whistle for white nationalism and must be removed immediately. They’re suggesting a study that would bring us something like the new Minnesota flag.

Youth Leadership Program? Sounds a lot like Learing Center. Someone needs to audit her funding and the # of participants.

Your post includes a random post from someone I’ve never heard of on X. That person’s random post on X includes a New York Times article to which I have no access.

Therefore, I have no opinion.

Ms. Valencia (I love your oranges), on behalf of the many good, strong American fathers here, I say,

You're Welcome!

Thank you for calling it out. These people are antisocial. They are not trying to understand, not trying to build bridges; trying neither to connect nor assimilate into the land they now call home.

Frankly, they are senseless, controlling busybodies. There is zero place for that in the land of the FREE

Its far worse than that when you look at it from a psychological perspective: they dont feel any need to do that because theyve been conditioned to beileve we are evil.

Bongino has a saying that I have to agree with: "The right thinks the left are mostly ok people with bad ideas. The left thinks the right are bad people with ideas."

The differentiation is key. If someone is a bad person you are happy when something bad happens to them. They are "other". They are dehumanized.

Americans cheer when nazis soldiers are killed in movies because they're "evil" even though most of them were just normal people conscripted into a war they would've been shot for not participating in who were probably normal people prior to combat.

The left is well down that road with the American right and their vitriol and support for violence against Trump is only directed at him because he is the totem or lightning rod for the right. But make no mistake, they feel no different about the people who think like him than we would with Hitler and people who were his strong supporters.

That's why they call us fascists when no one on the right supports that system of governance. Fascists to the communists post Spanish civil war are just anyone who supports existing power structures opposed to their movement so we are a force to be destroyed on their path to power.

Kamala Harris would've put the flag changing expert Tim Walz right on that.

The worse thing my mom could do to me was to say, "tsk tsk, I'm going to have to tell your father about this". She could slap at me, poke me hard, pinch me hard, even tell me to "go get me your daddy's belt" and swing away. When she told my dad what id been up to and he'd just got home hot, sweaty after a hard work day,.....it was curtains for me. I learned quickly not to go beyond mom's limits.

Correct, and thinking otherwise is racist. Just ask any progressive that posts here.

They want you and your flag replaced. NOW.
