Damn, someone’s getting fired over there at CBS.
They're under new ownership. I believe the company is called Skydance Media. The CEO, David Ellison, is on friendly terms with President Trump.
I'm pretty sure they own CNN now, too, but so far CNN seems as corrupt as ever.

This is the textbook definition of the sunk cost fallacy and (more appropriately for war) the escalation trap.
Its how we got Vietnam. You cant use faulty logic like this to start a war of choice in the 21st century (especially now that virtually everyone on the planet has a smartphone).
Trump will go down as a bigger loser than GWB and we will lose our country that we worked so hard to save in 2024.

I’m gonna keep using it because it accomplishes its purpose
The White House & Trump use it as well, but if someone thinks they’re smarter than Trump & the WH they don’t have to use it
What does it accomplish other than division?
We can disagree with Trump on certain policies yet still be a supporter. Do you understand this concept or do we have to support everything? serious question.

Maybe.
I just think we’ve made the situation a whole lot worse as is. And there is a way we can salvage it.
If we take the strait and do nothing further then we have come out ok economically, strategically and ultimately it doesn’t matter what happens with the regime because they will be bled out economically to be neutered.

Correct
It's stupid behavior
Just pretend we won something, make a deal and leave

A nuclear armed Iranian Islamic Regime is unacceptable. Remember, this Iranian regime is the No.1 sponsor of terrorism in the entire world.
We tend to attribute some sense of rationality to these Islamic radicals. Truth being, their thought process is nowhere near our Judeo-Christian principle of forgive your enemies. We are infidels - deserving of death.
Plus their notion of heaven is totally distorted and perverted.
I have absolutely no doubt if Iran acquires nuclear capability they will not hesitate to use the nuke to destroy the "infidels" (that be us).
Furthermore, none of this Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) logic that up to now, kept the world from blowing itself into annihilation matters to these radical Iranian Islamist.
Either Islam rules the world or Islam will destroy the world.
It's that simple.

Its purpose is to mock people that overreact to things they can’t control & not trusting the leader
As they lose control of their emotions over something they can’t control, they prove they’re incapable of reasoning with through reason & logic. Thus mocking is the preferred response. If that hurts their feelings, so be it. They’ll be offended over something else anyway

Every headline that comes up from a search "CBS poll on Iran war" say the war is going poorly or badly or not going well or some variation of that.
Posting the bits of a poll you like and ignoring the majority of it makes posters on this board feel good but it goes to show how far removed from reality the OP and everyone who agrees with them is.

None of those questions asked was about support for the war. For example, the 87% said that they wanted the straight opened. I mean duh why would anyone want it to stay closed? The majority are not happy we got into a war.

As usual the same group is always on the polar opposite end of reality

So easy to tell when something that favors the Jews - media acts like it’s the most amazing thing.
frick CBS, frick Israel. frick Trump, aka “A lot of my friends will get hurt if Epstein list is released”.
Y’all being played like a fiddle, yet again

You can support all of these things. I just don’t want taxpayers to be the ones paying for it

Larry Ellison. One of Trump’s biggest supporters. CBS is going to be the next FOX News.

Meanwhile some nerd started a thread above this one implying the Iran “war” will cost Republicans Congress in midterms.

Suddenly you Trumpicans are citing the MSM?
That’s cute.
