Well one of the cofounders of JPL was Jack Parsons and was a well known devil worshiper and part of JPL became NASA, so there's that.
FWIW, I believe we went to the moon but we also contracted Hollywood to fake a lot of moon landing scenes for NASA marketing purposes.
