We should have a secret back door built into these planes. We could then easily disable them and render them useless if push comes to shove at some point in time. Also should have ability to sell to China some altered plans that when they get down to the construction phase their is a Trojan Horse awaiting. Yes US needs to play dirty with these Commies. Who knows maybe they are already doing it, just not out for public consumption. We can always hope.

We were already treating them like an adversary and now we wonder why they respond in kind?
Because of reciprocal tariffs and telling them to police their border while we protect them?

Why on earth would we continue to protect them as they move closer to our primary adversary?
This has been going on for awhile.
As noted previously, I no longer trust the EU, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada.

They want to enjoy their liberal socialist agenda providing crappy health care to all and and attempting to have a safety net for all of their country, while we defend them for free like no other. Allowing them to sale their produce and wares in our country unregulated at the expense of the American farmers and companies. Now they don’t like tariffs that attempt to make trade fair. And they go brush elbows with China, a known enemy of our country and theirs to get our attention. I doubt this will sit well with our President and I am confident that after he squares away Iran and stabilizes Venezuela that Canada will be right up there with Cuba on the fix list. Not even worried

Canada is that little entitled rich kid that’s now hollering that injustices of the capitalist pig need ending, while he continues to live in a gated community on daddy’s dime

They can fly to Chyna for their medical care.

Regardless what Carney does, Canadians will re-elect him, if he calls an election. Hope not though.

35 issue could also be of national security importance. If Canada were to let the Chinese have or inspect the F-35's over there, that could be a serious problem, demanding a serious response.
China has had the F35 design and specs for decades. They already have their own Temu version. They don’t need a Canadian one

Watch their reactions when they beat our teams at the Winter Olympics.
Probably about the same ours will/would be when we win Olympic medals?

Well, they won't need to buy our planes if we just take the place over will they?

You're a complete rube if you think the US started any conflicts there. They were flat out robbing us blind and insulting even before trump.

Canada can do what they want, but they will pay a very steep price for this. Canada is part of our national interest. America will not allow Canada to be friendly with our enemies. Canada will also be a much easier invasion than Greenland, so maybe the canucks should think about that before they go mouthing off.
The United States makes up 90% of trade revenue for Canada. Canada, makes up 5-10% of trade revenue with the united states. They will do exactly what we tell them to do.

Try to keep in mind that when we sell these or anything for that matter, they're not getting the top of line, limited edition model. They're getting bare bones, air frames. It's on them to out-rig what they want inside.
I wouldn’t call them bare bones. The hardware is the same. The software isn’t.
