I am sorry to say this as DeSantis is a great governor. But the former dem trumpocrats union voters in Michigan, PA, WI, Ohio won't go for anymore Bushylite neoconlite...That wants to ban abortion to 6 weeks nationally, do gooder Mikey Pence stuff. Abortion is a decided State issue.

Gov Kim and DeSantis went full preacher evangelical on abortion. DeSantis would fail in a primary, he should take a damned good job on Fox News now -while he can draw a good salary from them. Casey can go on Fox and Friends as a leg flasher.

I don’t know about that.. what has JD done do make a name for himself really? Not putting him down, VP role isn’t really a “make your mark” kind of role… DeSantis is a proven executive.

I think DeSantis v Rubio would be a tighter primary.

I agree that he has shown he can be trusted. I agree that he would be a great president. I agree that his candidacy should be taken seriously.

Will I vote for him? I dont know. But I can't imagine a world where he would not be in my top two or three. And I can say for sure that I would go for him over Rubio or any other Bush-lite types.

That said, Rubio has been a GREAT, and I mean GREAT, secretary of state.

JD has lost a lot of favor. The primary is open. Good luck to Ron and all.... Could Ron beat an AOC bouncing her boobies? Is Wesley Hunt or a MAGA celeb with most important- name recognition available? Stallone, Mel Gibson are too old...

Funny that a Louisiana centered board would pump for this guy.
During Covid, he had state troopers on 10 at the border turning back any car with Louisiana plates.
I recall this, vividly.

There’s a deep bench for the GOP in 28.

For the DNCMSM Political Complex? Not so much! A governor of a failing blue state, a communist millionaire senator who’s failed twice, and a rapidly aging ex-cocktail waitress who had to freeze her eggs in hopes of not ending up a crazy cat lady.

He’s the VP. And he’s popular. That’s it. That’s all you need to know. There is absolutely zero chance whatsoever of anyone else getting the nomination.

JD also had “TDS” according to this board:

I won’t be voting for JD because he changed his name. The guy is very fake.

Then what does it mean? We have a Reformed Theological Seminary here and it's just a long name for Presbyterian. I am open minded.

People like Porksammich and a few others make me not want to support DeSantis. His base has some of the biggest retards.

Honestly, I'd have no problem voting for him. I would have voted for him if he had gotten the nomination in 2024.
