Im not an expert, but seems like these days anyone can file a lawsuit.
Just curious as it crossed my mind.

He should with a Trump supporting judge

Not sure he'd fare well in NYC even if there was an avenue to do that.
Plus, how much more in legal fees is he willing to take on.

The judge would likely have immunity much like a government agent does when they’re executing the duties of their office.

Criminal prosecution can occur for office holders that abuse the system

Yes, but there is a very high bar to overcome the presumption of qualified immunity. Typically, the government official has to commit a felony committing acts well outside of the scope of their offices.

Anyone can sue anyone
He would hav4 to prove a lot of bad stuff in order to win. Which I doubt he could.

One day we are going to get all this discovery we keep hearing about.

Of course he can, if he doesn’t mind paying her legal fees for defending it and a likely substantial judgment against him for abuse of process. It wouldn’t be cheap, but if he wants to throw more money away, he certainly can.

Usually there is a threshold that can be crossed and immunity lost. For example if we found out that a prosecutor was paid by an outsider to prosecute someone, or willfully fabricated evidence, they might lose their immunity.

Why are they so scared to release the Kracken?
There is Kracken, right?

Well, I don’t think they would lie to us. Soooooo…

Can he? Yes.
Would he be sanctioned for filing a frivolous lawsuit? Likely.

Not if he can show misconduct between AG & judge

He should just go for it...with his current stable of lawyers...how could he lose?

You think different/better lawyers would have changed the outcome of this case?
The guilty verdict was written before the trial started. Corruption to the rim.

It would be a federal Civil Rights lawsuit for rights violations under color of law, I’d think.
And one could honestly get it removed from the Southern District of New York and sent to another office for the exact same reason.
