CAN the Ukraine/Russia War be resolved diplomatically?

I'm not aware of any similar situation ever being resolved without a clear military victory for one side.
Neither government can stay in power and make territorial concessions. How would that be negotiated with the current governments?
I wish Trump had just declared "Ain't our war. I hope y'all get it resolved. We're out."

They’re at war.
Clearly not.
That’s the purpose of war.

I was repeatedly told it could be ended with one phone call

Putin can. He can withdraw to the pre-war boundaries and declare victory, and he will be ok because he is so insulated.

Not with Z in power while we continue to supply them with munitions.
And it would require an acknowledgement that we lack the will to force an outcome that would avoid resulting in Russia holding onto most or all of its current gains.
My proposal again is that we would:
-Tell Ukraine that continued support is predicated on removing Z and immediate good faith negotiations beginning within 30 days based on an assumption that land will be granted to Russia
-I would then make it known that if no deal is made within 60 days Ukraine would be immediately accepted for full member status in NATO and that any violation of the peace deal would trigger the same inclusion policy
-I would also make the deal predicated on removing the globalists and human traffickers from the Ukranian government and a full investigation of any money that was stolen during the war
-A rebuild plan would be made based on a joint US-Ukranian deal using their minerals to rebuild infrastructure while paying back US loans over a 20 year period with initial priority on getting them back functioning and expelling all foreigners imported by the globalists during the war

I agree. We should just acknowledge that.

There are too many people with a vested interest in it not being resolved.

Last clear victory was 80 years ago. There are no similar situations among the living today. There is a lot of instances of cowards cut and run approach.

Thanks. Maybe you're right, but even the withdrawal from Afghanistan eventually contributed to the break up of the Soviet Union.

Not until Putin is gone. He is KGB, a Communist, and a Soviet for life. He believes the Ukraine is still part of Russia

Putin can end this at anytime, Russia is the aggressor and can stop it’s aggression anytime

Whether or not your proposal would work, I suspect it's more elaborate than our current plan: which seems to be just leaning on one side and then the other.

OK. Does that mean Russia gets to keep the Ukrainian territory it has already taken?

No. Putin is determined to "create a buffer against NATO" (his stated goal) and Z is determined to not allow Russia to have even an inch of land. As long as that remains the status quo, the war will continue and Russia will eventually win.
Russia has no reason to resolve anything as they are slowly winning the war of attrition. The are slowly but surely taking more and more Ukrainian lands and then reinforcing them.
Ukraine has been able to hold out only because of Western arms and training. Without some other country joining them, they simply don't have the raw numbers of manpower to push back against Russia's gains to any meaningful extent.

The EU will continue to push the war on white Christians
It’s how Ww2 started and it’s never stopped. England declared war on Germany.

Considering it's likely Putin will be deposed and killed if they lose, it's going to be tough.
Putin fricked the frick up by invading Ukraine without legitimate provocation and he's completely screwed Russia's future in the process.

Well that’s because I’m not at all convinced that the US wants peace right now in Ukraine.
If we did we would t be doing what we’re doing which makes no sense whatsoever if you look at what he said he wanted to happen during the campaign.
I think we just didn’t want the proxy war to mess up energy costs for the midterms while we’re also flailing around in Iran so they’re looking for a short term deal to get the energy markets back under control long enough to avoid the DNC taking Congress and making him a complete lame duck.
The problem is I don’t think anyone on the message board (myself included) understands currently what the real agenda is with our geostrategic policy so these actions come off as insane even to people like myself who wanted Trump to be successful.
At this point I have to accept that either my understanding of what he was wanting to achieve was inherently wrong or he wants what I thought he wanted in 2024 and is just failing to execute it effectively at the moment.

They are very close to provoking NATO to join in. The attrition will happen quickly if somebody lets Poland off the chain.
