Surely that limp wristed fig is going to provide us with proof that the vast majority of third worlds cretins are doctors.

Just be patient.

It still requires an operator to tell it what to do

At the end of the day Americans will find a way to be employed. We tend to adapt well.

I would say that outsourcing is a bigger threat to our future than immigration. With the caveat that we should absolutely crack down on illegal immigration and be more selective about the legal immigrants that we allow in.

If the operator has claude or an equivalent perform the work of 1-4 people all over the workforce that scales to millions of jobs.

According to leftists and moderates, the west needs to combat declining birth rates with immigration. As the last 15-20 years have shown, that immigration is almost exclusively from third world countries with mostly illiterate, poor immigrants. How on earth would the type of people being imported do anything to offset the alleged effects of birth rate declines including lower tax base, less employees, etc. In other words, if I have 3 .300 + hitters that can play defense retiring next year, it probably doesn’t do my club any good to put the equipment managers in the lineup as replacements.

The crazy thing is they all have it backwards in my opinion.

Less workers means higher salaries which would then equal more stable and settled young adults which means they are more likely to have kids and they will start replacing themselves.

People are waiting so long to have kids for two reasons.

1. They bought into feminism and became convinced that they “needed to be independent and successful in the workplace” before settling down.

2. They may not have bought into 1 but they bought into the lie that they had to be settled with a nest egg a home etc before they had kids. Thus rather than do what every generation before did and have kids in their 20s and early 30s and figure it out to provide for their offspring (which is a biological instinct) they wait too long and miss their window.

Number 1 may not be fixable but 2 is if they would behave as they did in the 50s and not import cheap workforce to do jobs Americans would do at adequate pay.

Think about it. It’s now extremely common to have not 1 but 2 working parents to afford the standard lifestyle AND they are still importing people to undercut those parents.

Agreed. Infinite growth does not make sense when you account for affordability or where tech is heading.

In going to church on Sunday with a congregation that is a high percentage hispanic. I'm not concerned about "those people". There are some citizens of this country I am concerned with. I'd suggest republicans find a way to work with them.
I am not for mass amnesty though I suspect we will get there sooner or later.

It's worth noting that some European countries have abysmally low birth rates.

Fun fact: There’s nothing wrong with population flattening out or even slightly declining. We don’t have to keep growing at an unsustainable rate.

Most Hispanics assimilate to our culture just fine

Obviously we don't want to be importing MS13 types but there are plenty of great Hispanics that can add great value to our society.

If so, it won’t be for lack of want. All these CEOs, billionaires, and government leaders (stooges) want it bad.

That’s what tech is for. You don’t need millions of imported cart pushers or widget handlers with advancing technology.

I suppose Wal-Mart, Frito-Lay, and slum lords need their tax dollar using customers.

The tech companies need customers also

Both the general public and enterprise customers will be required for them to get real ROI on these mass investments

Mass unemployment = demand destruction

We should adopt the Hungarian model where mothers of two or three children can be eligible for a lifelong personal income tax exemption and mothers of four or more children are automatically exempt from personal income taxes for life.

We need babies, not illegals. Short term strategies should be centered around legal needs and merit-based work visa programs.

Mass unemployment caused by AI would make immigration (legal or not) pointless if the current population requires UBI in some form.
