Not whether you believe there should be a committee or not, and if you have strong opinions on what happened at the Capitol.
But can you actually defend this as being a bi-partisan truth finding effort? Do you believe there is opportunity for the other side to present alternative facts or ask questions of the witnesses?
Does that make you feel good? That your congress does not believe in presenting other viewpoints in something you consider to be such a terrible event in American history? Does this bring any shame to you?

What do you think...The person in charge of funding security and making sure the capitol is safe is running the "committee". The whole thing is a joke. They will keep thumping Orange Man bad because they are screwing up our country and don't have any legit talking points.

It's just a political exercise to generate sound bites for 2022 midterm races.
... and another failing, flailing attempt to lay this at Trump's feet.

I was impressed with AQUILINO GONELL. His testimony was crap. But his name sounds like a large hydroelectric damn project.

Same old song and dance since Trump took office.
Every "committee" they have put together has circumvented every procedural rule to get the outcome they wanted from the getgo.

There was a truly bipartisan committee offered that Republicans sabotaged. The current committee is bipartisan and the only reason there aren't 6 Republicans on it is because McCarthy is playing games.
McCarthy could still nominate 4 serious Republicans to the committee if he wanted to.

It's being run by the same Lawfare crew that ran the Blasey-Ford "Beach Friends" hearing.

Duhh.. it's bipartisan!

He could do that and the whole thing would still be a sham.

And Pelosi would reject them again.
You're a clown.

It's complete shite and waste of time just like all theatrical performances created by Democrats. Only the "true believers" are getting lathered up over this farcical dog and pony show.

Playing games? Ok. Why is the attack on the White House the night Trump was evacuated to the bunker not being investigated in this committee? The ambush and threats of Republicans leaving the RNC in Washington?
Sorry to make you try to defend the indefensible. But you are a lib.. so you have practice.
