California Is Blocking a Federal Audit of Its Voter Rolls
California allows first-time voters to register using forms of ID that most Americans would find surprising, including:
-Gym membership card
-Employer ID card
-Credit or debit card
-Prescription drug label
-Insurance card (California provides free health coverage to undocumented immigrants)
Full list: LINK
This is permitted when a voter fails to provide a Social Security number or driver’s license at registration. Our office believes this policy deserves a closer look.
We also have serious concerns about how California maintains its voter rolls. There are open questions about whether the state is promptly removing deceased voters, people who have moved, and individuals convicted of disqualifying felonies.
On top of that, California allows third parties to collect and turn in ballots on voters’ behalf (a practice known as ballot harvesting) with few restrictions. This makes it difficult to track who actually received, completed, and submitted each ballot.
For over a year, the Department of Justice has been trying to audit California’s voter rolls. Federal law gives the Attorney General the authority to review state voter files and confirm that only eligible U.S. citizens are voting in federal elections.
@AAGDhillon
sent California a letter explaining our legal authority. California refused to comply, claiming state privacy laws block the review, an argument that does not hold up because those laws don’t apply to the federal government in this context. We’ve sued California in federal court, and the case is before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
If California genuinely wants voters to trust its elections, it should open its records, not fight to keep them closed.
What are they afraid of?

The Dems want transparency until it’s looking into the voting issues.
The only time Dems hate any trans thing

fricking DO SOMETHING!
Holy shite it’s so obvious they are cheating. Blue states absolutely panic when you ask to see something that should be easy to hand over if nothing nefarious is taking place.

You honestly can't make this up.

They'll go after them for mail fraud. I think they finally draw their line in the sand right here.

What percentage of the legislative branch do you suppose is occupying a seat secured by fraudulent means?
This is eleventy billions times more egregious than taxation without representation.

Enough already.

This is how democrats have been doing it for decades. Post election time, mass absentee ballots filled out for registered voters who didn’t vote.

Like over 80%. The people who get elected are people deemed trustworthy to play ball within the corrupt system.
And yes think about the consequences.
50 million illegals living in the US now because a fraudulent government allowed it to happen. Our manufacturing base hollowed out and sent to create our biggest economic/military threat in China because a fraudulent government allowed it. $40 T in debt because a fraudulent government allowed it.

Have they still found zero mail in ballots for Spencer?

Man you have more faith than I do in the Republican DOJ.
It seems no matter how much fraud is uncovered we still haven’t seen anyone really pay. They are much better going after soldiers for betting than those that have corrupted our system.
I hope they finally do but my expectation is zero

My understanding is you don’t need any form of ID to register. There is an opt out box under the various form of ID you can select on the registration form.

Fraud in California state and local elections affects all Americans because decisions made by officials elected through fraudulent elections cross state lines.

PA, CO and MI are blocking the audits as well.

It’s time the federal government lays down the law.
No federal funding to any government that receives federal aid directly or through NGOs until voters ID meets a national standard.
Maybe the Feds can’t pass national voter ID requirements, but they can require it for federal funds.
Also, any election that has effects on the federal government (electoral vote allocations, congressional representation) must follow minimum national standards.
This is beyond ridiculous.

Serious question, is a Federal Audit of a States voter rolls legal? I know we are all states rights fans here.
Posted on 6/7/26 at 2:44 pm to AlterEd
This is so crazy but not that surprising, we knew they were cheating. At some point we have to do something about this

Incoming libs to scream "States rights. They have the right to conduct elections however they choose. You don't live there."

All we need is a congress with a spine to revise the federal election statute.
No states federal election can or will be certified without submitted, audited vote counts with all vote / ballot history accompanied by current voter rolls.
All votes / ballots must be submitted by the day of the election.
2 weeks post election to audit / certify the results.
