causes alcohol to affect them much more than other ethnicities?

There are both physical and social aspects and historically a lot of resources and programs have been used to fight this issue. From the Native institutions themselves and the Fed gov.

If the kid wasn't being a dick about it, it is something worthy of a conversation.

Demons don't care what land claims society fights over and certainly will attack all humans on earth when they are in a weak state of mind.

Drug and alcohol abuse are the Demon's most used tools against humanity.

Oh no Brer Fox, don’t throw us in that whites only reservation! We would hate the lack of diversity and then invent more technology to take over the world.

Also:
• Death Rates: Native Americans die from alcohol-related causes at a rate of 51.9 per 100,000 people, compared to 11.7 per 100,000 for the general U.S. population.
• Fetal Alcohol Spectrum: Rates of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders are higher in Native American and Alaska Native communities than the national average.

Yupppppp

ETA: They react to alcohol the same way most Asian counterparts interact. Smiley, blushing after a very small amount.

However their culture has aloooooooooot of trauma they have yet to really progress through in a good way. This leads to rampant drug abuse, alcoholism, and domestic/family abuse.

If you've never been on a reservation or experienced Native Alaskan culture in a village off the road system you just wont get it.

Its really sad because their culture is actively dying.

People dont realize and/or forget that many Alaskan natives didnt have whitee contact till the 1850s...and before that they were completely nomadic.

shite my wife is 2nd generation post contact and her and her siblings are the first to master/speak the English language.

I hate people like in this video.

ETA:ETA: to add a fun poliboard twist to this. The worst thing that happened to native culture was Fedgov. Not even bringing up the whole dumb stolen land argument, these folks were continually lied to by Fedgov and then squeezed into reservation systems...all the while being adopted out to white families to become "civilized".

They want sovereignty and in the lower 48 they do have it, these people are stuck to the govt teat.

A common misconception of the native Americans was that they were more susceptible to the effects of alcohol, like smallpox. The reality is many tribes had many forms of fermented drinks that they perfected over thousands of years. A lot of it was geographical, the tribes of the American SW and especially Mexico fermented their own version of beer, just like the ancient Egyptians. Mexican tribes fermented many versions of fermented drinks made from honey, fruit, agave cactus, and Higo Chumbo(sp.) which is specifically fermented from Nopali’s/cactus fruit and a handful of native, wild yeast which was plentiful.

They just didn’t have metallurgy and the ability to distill which would have increased their yield and potentcy.

It was all meant to destroy their collective identity. The re-homing of children, the boarding schools, the cross-country jobs programs that were nothing more than lies, using the Catholic Church as the tip of the spear, purposely overcomplicating every process that was presented to them as a help......all meant to undermine tradition and weaken community.

Yep as a Catholic ill admit it. Horrible things done wrongly to those folks. But those instances also highlighted the infiltration of government in the name of religion as well. See Canada catholic church burning over mass graves that dont actually exist.

Regardless, its still so ingrained in their culture...that divisiveness. The govt fricked them so hard that some tribes want lower blood quantums to limit tribal membership to maximize dividends.

We can learn alot about how hard the Fedgov can frick folks if we paid attention to what happened to native folks. We completely fricked their culture at a generational cultural level

Why? So that people who get advanced degrees in a Bull shite majors can waste space as a tenured professor.

Irrelevant electives should not be a requirement for graduation. I get why electives can be important to an overall expansion of a college experience but an "elective" specific topic should not be required. Just make it a humanities elective required. If people do not sign up for crap arse classes then they need to go away.

My humanities elective were Music Appreciation and Theater Set Design (taught by a flamboyant (gay) theater freak). Both ranked in the top five classes that I actually enjoyed.
