Cal State prof removed after expelling student for question on Native American alcoholism

Earlier this month, a student named Brooke Smith posted a video that consisted of a series of clips of the incident on TikTok, alleging that she watched the lecturer kick out a male student after he asked about tribal problems with alcoholism. Smith did not mention the lecturer’s name but described her as Native American.
The video begins with the scholar telling the student “no you’re not, no you’re not” when he appears to say “I’m sorry.”
“So get up and get the f— out of my class right now,” she continues. Another clip shows the lecturer saying: “You did this sh– on purpose, you are out of my class. I am dropping you.”
The video jumps to a discussion between the instructor and what appears to be a small group of students.
“We are actually not more likely to be alcoholics,” the lecturer says with emotion. “We have steadily fought for our land. I just feel so hurt.”
Off camera, a woman responds that dropping the student from the class was “not fair” because he asked “a genuine question.”

This is well established science she is denying and there is a biological reason they are more predisposed to alcoholism than other races. If she doesn't understand this then she shouldn't be teaching anything having to do with Native Americans.

Their relationship with alcohol is complicated and multi-faceted. Shutting down genuine discussion, as that professor did, helps nothing.

It's because it's new to them (biological time speaking). And it actually points out that they have been CLEANER than their European counterparts. They had access to fresh water like always while Europeans were throwing their urine and feces into their own water supply. They never developed a need for brewing alcohol and didn't have it until we introduced it to them.
They lack the enzymes we have that digest alcohol in the bloodstream. They're prone to getting more fricked up, staying fricked up longer, and becoming more dependent on alcohol than Europeans do in general.
At least, that's the way I've come to understand it.

There is a direct correlation between how people have been exposed to alcohol and alcoholism. Jews have been exposed for 1000s of years so they have a low rate of alcoholism. Indians have only been exposed for a few hundred years so they have an extremely high rate of alcoholism.
