She doesn’t like being American, she has stated so herself. she does not agree with American values and how we treat people…maybe she can wise up a bit and learn to respect the country that gave her the freedom to muff dive openly and blaze down!

While it's amusing to see her get a taste of actual oppression, we can't let her rot in a Russian jail. It's not about her at this point. It's principle. Even if we don't want her back, we can't let this slide.

Problem is that this admin has already emptied it's quiver on non military actions against Russia and have nothing to provide leverage against them. Russia knows this and is forcing an awful trade that will feel like a loss to every American with a brain.

She would need to acknowledge that first. I've seen no indication she does.

Here's hoping when this is all over, she learns not to bring illegal substances to other countries.

Yes, generally speaking, I want Americans to come home, BUT…

1) Not if it means we’re trading her for an arms dealer

2) I’d hope sincerely she changes her tune drastically over how horrible she finds America.

3) Why are we negotiating her release when there’s probably thousands of Americans in American prisons for the exact same crime? What makes her special?

4) It’s probably best she stay there for a while so she can re-evaluate her opinion of America while enjoying some Russian penal hospitality.

How many Americans are in prison in other countries after being rightly convicted of breaking those countries' laws? Should we not then also be focused on getting them out as well? And why haven't we been doing that up until now?

This x1000. She shouldn't get any special treatment from the US because of her blackness, her gayness, her WNBA-ness, or anything else. Get others out first that are more deserving and have suffered longer.

They didn't do it for Jim Hopper, a veteran, why do it for Griner?

Imagine all those Russian Inmates telling her everyday for nine years...

"You didn't like America? WTF is wrong with you?"

Let her rot for a few years then bring her back. Maybe she'll respect what she has here a bit more.

It's tough love. Keep bailing out your kids and they'll grow up to be insufferable twits. This is no different.

Screw that. She is an international drug trafficker. I wish she got 50 years. I hope she never comes back to the US when she is finished serving her time.

There is the exact statement that sees the right get freaking outflanked on every political fight. Aww we just need to give and take. Aww we just need to set an example. Aww we just need to do this even if they hate us. Aww they will like us if we just act bigger than this. Aww they will return the favor if we give them this win. Aww when we get in office we will set an example and they will follow.

She broke international law. “Aww shucks.. it was just a lil……”. She broke international law.

She isn’t in jail in tishomingo county Mississippi on a minor charge. She broke international law

They didn’t make it up out of the blue.. they didn’t plant it on her.

She is a imbecile who violated the laws of a country not on the best of terms with the US. Sorry. She is fricked. And should be.

Remember that spoiled arse kid who was caned in Singapore? Back in the 90’s. I laughed my arse off at that too. They finally did what his dumbass coddling parents refused to do. Beat his arse. I wish it was live on tv. I would have that saved right now on DVD.

Not. Just because she is a leftist hero for wiping her arse with the flag, disrespecting our national anthem, and disparaging the very country that made her wealthy, doesn't mean she doesn't have to find out, after all that fricking around.

Wonder what will happen to this woke bitch if she fails to honor the Russian flag?

But hey guys America sucks because of “systemic racism”, “white privilege”, “white supremacy” and all that shite. Have fun you woke count!

You’re a fricking sheep.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are responsible for putting more black men in prison in this country for petty weed violations than anyone in the history of the United States, fact.
So when you and this administration simp to the masses for redemption through the complicit MSM, you’re getting played every step of the way.
It’s absolutely fricking hysterical when there’s hours of confirmed video of the President’s crackhead son doing enough crack and blow to put your average American black man away for life and yet, you’re so concerned about some American citizen in another country that openly admitted to breaking that country’s narcotic laws.
Wake up and then grow up.
