MAJOR BREAKING — South Dakota GOP Committee has UNANIMOUSLY voted to CENSURE Sen. John Thune.

HIS HOME STATE IS FED UP! ??

The resolution will now head to a floor vote before the South Dakota Republican Party.

MASSIVE: The people in Thune's home state are sick OF HIM OVER the stalled SAVE America Act and are raising serious questions about Thune’s future ahead of 2028.

This comes from internal GOP tensions over disagreements about national GOP strategy, and leadership alignment.

Thune got drunk on swamp water and forgot where he was from. It happens a lot in DC.

Blood is flowing in the water right now and Thune & crew are all at risk of being toppled in the next few weeks.

What this is is his home state telling him in no uncertain terms that this is his last term in office.

Some interesting things I learned about John Thune.

He was born in 1961, was a high school athlete, played college basketball at Biola University in CA, graduated with a BA in business, then went on to get his MBA.

Then, doing nothing of really any consequence or achieving literally anything, he became an aide to US senator James Abdnor from 1985-1987. He was the Railroad Director of SD from 1991-1993. He was then the director of the SD Municipal League from 1993-1996.

And he's been in Congress since 1996. First as a Rep until 2003 and a Senator ever since.

He's been at the trough too long. He doesn't know how to do anything in the real world/private sector but he's somehow qualified to NOT be able to pass legislation that is practically being demanded from the people.

It's time for a new senator, South Dakotians. Make SD Great Again. I'm not sure what he will do afterwards, seeing how he's never really done anything before. But I'm sure he'll manage.

Works for me. We really can't do much against the corrupt Democrats except throw them in prison. Our biggest fight is to continue trying to clean up the Republican Party.

What can they do before his term is up?

better idea south dakota doesn't deserve two senators since it never should have been a state. it should have remained a territory. but the republicans had a senate to pack after the civil war and nation to build from sea to shining sea!

we would have been a better country if the south had won.

This could conceivably begin to start to initiate an introduction for the preliminary considerations of action.

Seriously, this may move the needle bit.

This is a perfect example of why the 17th Amendment should be repealed.

It’s more so a warning that he’s gonna lose his seat in two years unless he’s stops being a Democrat

This. In the past, this would mean nothing. Given the recent elections with Cornyn and Cassidy however, it could give Thune reason to pause.

Another election to watch is Fleming in Louisiana, if he wins this from grassroots vs big money it could set a standard for future elections.

I don’t know either one. I’m trusting you Tigahs to make the right choice. Unlike our brethren in South Carolina that keep sending Ms. Graham back to DC.

Cornyn got booed at an event a few years ago and got wrecked in his primary this year.

I would never count an incumbent out, but Thune has an uphill climb for re election in 2028.

80+% of his constituents in SD want the Save America passed. He can ignore those voters at his own peril.
