I'll admit I'm not very knowledgeable about political "making sausage", but why is the vote not taken because the Senate leader says, "We don't have the votes".
Is this kinda bullshite collusion that prevents the American public from finding out how Senators vote?
They can't vote because of WHAT?
Are they time constrained.
Do they need more time to read what is in the bill?
Is the August recess a factor?
Just present the bill for a vote. If it fails, we the People at least know how each Senator voted.
Stop the bullshite!
