Busy morning for the sinking ship

quote:

The Biden administration will publish in the coming days a rule requiring private businesses to ensure their employees are vaccinated against Covid-19, the Department of Labor said on Monday.

The rule applies to businesses with 100 or more employees. It’s estimated to cover about two-thirds of the private sector workforce.

The development comes immediately after the White House issued separate vaccine-enforcement guidelines for federal contractors that apply to millions of workers.

Companies must develop and enforce a mandatory Covid vaccination policy unless they create a plan that gives workers the option to get tested regularly and requires them to wear a mask at work, according to a Labor Department spokesperson.

The mandate will also require employers to provide paid time to workers to get vaccinated and paid sick leave to recover from any side effects.

Like a union. Eight 15 minute breaks per 4 hours scheduled work.

Can we peacefully burn shite down when they announce this in an official capacity and then again when people are fired for doing absolutely nothing wrong?

Lawsuits will immediately be filed in almost all states. This will work its way through the courts with the quickness.

And yet no specific legislation can be cited in which this regulation enforces

Therefore - feel free to ignore*

*that assumes we have actual judges left in this country

Well Tenn passed legislation barring mandates, don't know if the Gov has signed it yet. That will be the first state to have standing with the USSC for a 10th amendment showdown.

I’ll believe it when I see it, on multiple levels.

Forcing this is a loser for them in public opinion and in court.

and in court.

I used to think that, but don't now. Seeing what the courts have refused to do already, I don't have faith they will do anything with this either.

Montana saw this coming months ago and passed legislation forbidding all of it.

Possibly. But I don’t think they care what people think and you never know how the courts will rule. This is about domination of your everyday life and reshaping the country into their vision. It’s a chance worth taking if you’re a leftist.

Company: we plan to have everyone vaccinated before December of 2075.

I told you guys last week it was coming.

They have concluded stakeholder meetings which means the final package should be ready in a few days.

A few things to consider, it appears that the 100 employee number will be kept, and there's rumors that employers will not be forced to pay for weekly testing if the company mandates that instead of the vaccine. I can't wait to see how that piece will stick with employees.

About 80% of businesses w/ more than 100 employees and 99% that do business with the gov’t are good with the mandate. Conservatives have let “but it’s a free market” get away from them.
