Bruh why did you delete what you wrote? Did you read it and realize how idiotic it sounded?
"Many black people do things that every other group of people does, like making sure you have a receipt, but they default to racism.
To some, every negative experience is a direct result of racism. Negative experiences happen to everyone."

What towns are these?

I read a fascinating study of black/white language differences in normal conversation. It was 10 years ago and I don't remember much. But one issue was 'raising the voice.'
Scenario: A co-worker accuses you of stealing their sandwich from the lounge fridge...
White guy (guilty or innocent) calmly says: 'Nope, wasn't me.'
Black guy (guilty) calmly says: 'Nope, wasn't me.'
Black guy (innocent) yells: 'NO! I didn't!'
Increased volume = emphasis that "I'm telling the truth this time". Whites don't do that adjustment.

WTF is this? I lived in Louisiana most of my life and have never heard of this.

That and being raised by racist parents.

No. That is 100% true. But I liked the other thought better because it was more concise. I didn’t want to gum up the thread with too many replies so I chose the other one. Thank you for your concern.

So when do we get a list of unwritten rules from predominantly black areas?

not all blacks are racists, but all racists are blacks or white liberals

Mainstream media will promote this as "wow, smh, can't believe they have to deal with this"
The fact that for every Arbery 1000 people are shot for being on the wrong street corner or because some thug wanted your iPhone or because someone gestured at a Dodge Charger driving erratically is completely irrelevant

Now I can guarantee you that as a white man, if I were to walk in certain sections of some cities or towns after dark, I’m likely to get robbed and or killed.
Blacks can’t say the same thing about white neighborhoods. The evidence is the number of videos I’ve seen recently of black teenagers walking through my hood at night checking car doors and stealing anything of value from homes that aren’t secured.

This isn't 1950.

This is all obviously nonsense. However, there are plenty of “sunset” neighborhoods and sections of town. Not the ones these rules are talking about

They forgot to list driving in the left lane, 10 mph below the posted speed limit and refusing to move over.

In New Orleans it doesn't even have to be at night!

The phrase “sundown town” was coined in the late 19th century to describe towns (predominantly mining or factory towns in the north) where African Americans were permitted to work, but were legally barred from occupying after sunset. These were particularly prominent in Ohio in places like Youngsville.
This term became popularized in “The Green Book” which was a published travel guide for African Americans to know where they could and could not safely stop and find food, gas, and lodging. There was a movie about it a few years back.
I am very skeptical of the claim that there are still any “sundown towns” in Louisiana seeing as blacks make up almost 40% of the population and are frequently the MAJORITY in most small towns. Kinda hard to exclude blacks from a city that’s majority black.
