It's going to come as a surprise to a whole lot of black dudes in the NFL over the last several decades that Sanders was apparently going to be the first brash black personality ever in the NFL

Nobody cares about his skin color that shite is so overplayed now.

Black people blaming racism when Ward, Daniels, Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, CJ, etc recent examples explains the plight many in their race face today.
No ability to understand entitled, shoving a ref, leaving the field before a game ends, throwing teammates under the bus and being defiant to a prospective employer would have an impact!

There’s a reason he ain’t got drafted yet can’t nobody figure that out. He a plug just like his daddy

The black guys in my office were stating as a fact that Taysom Hill actively sabotaged Jameis Winston by dropping his passes on purpose, and that he obviously protested against the Saints picking Shadeur Sanders, because he doesn’t like blacks playing QB.
This was said completely seriously and all 5 of them nodded in agreement.

You’re expecting logic?

Sports media has fueled this tremendously. Every sports site I look at has reporters who are “outraged” and “in complete shock” over how much he fell. Now he’s gone to NFL purgatory in Cleveland.

Political Board, bro. A black being about a football draft mad isn’t political.

I wish I had the luxury of something as trivial as this being an example of a "problem" for me. Seriously, do these people just sit around waiting to hear about something as irrelevant as this so they can pound their fists on the table?

Let me get one of those ribs bro!

Im furious- how come more white guys were not drafted in the first round?

Most of the NFL is. If there's racial discrimination it's against people who aren't black.

Black Fatigue is starting to increase in this country.
Heck, I'm black and I have it too.

So were the first two players drafted last year.
Posted on 4/26/25 at 2:25 pm to AndyJ
Why? I could care less where some white dude from a distant state gets drafted.
Posted on 4/26/25 at 2:25 pm to AndyJ
It’s because they don’t want a cocky primadonna on their football team

It’s a weird paradox. On one hand they cheered on Coach Prime being the final arbiter of where his son was gonna play as this symbol of black empowerment. On the other hand in a display of real power of employment opportunities, the NFL teams obliged. They alienated so many teams that it tanked his value. Why take the risk in drafting a guy and then he refuses to sign with you? Even worse, potential trade partners might pass on him too because the Sanders camp alienated them in the first place.
