Can we put in a provision that if they or any of their direct ancestors has committed ANY violent crime then they are ineligible.

For sure many probably don’t know their lineage beyond three generations. Going to be an epic shite show

Pretty shrewd move by Cali. Give away billions in reparations, then get the FedGov to give them a grant to cover it.

I wholeheartedly endorse this proposal and hope for the reparations to be generous, plentiful, and require remaining in the state of California.

If all my ancestors immigrated to the US after slavery (which they did by the way) can I skip paying the portion of my state taxes that is paying for reparations?

1.) You have to be black. Whites need not apply.

2.) You're ancestor doesn't even have to be a slave. You can be the decent of a free black from the 1800s and still qualify.
