Citizen review board AKA 21st century white citizen’s council.

If this means adding some transparency to the departments that currently do internal reviews without sharing how rulings were made or sharing the content of the reviews, good. Departments where cops act as the defendant, prosecutor, judge, and jury need to be more open.

Sounds fine and good. But we all know this bunch will grandstand about what is "acceptable." Anything short of black on black murder is going to be subject to debate. "Right and Wrong" is going to be re-defined. What on Earth will this bunch deem "acceptable" other than cold-blooded murder against another black guy?

What I want to know is how this is not an absolute Utopia? What is the underlying problem holding Birmingham back from being a model city?
