When I awoke the dire wolf
600 pounds of sin
Was grinnin’ at my window
All I said was “come on in”
Don’t murder me
I beg of you, don’t murder me

Why did they originally go extinct?
What makes them a different species and not a breed?
How will their gene pool diversify and grow so the species can flourish?

How can we know if those are accurate, or purposefully screwed up to make a point?

They're hybreds at best, inferior to their ancestors.
De-Extinction Process:
Colossal Biosciences used DNA from a 13,000-year-old tooth and a 72,000-year-old skull to create the dire wolf pups.
Genetic Editing:
They edited the DNA of gray wolves to express specific traits of dire wolves, including coat color, hair length, and body size.
Surrogate Mothers:
The fertilized dire wolf eggs were implanted into surrogate dog mothers, who gave birth to the pups.
The pups:
Two litters have resulted in Romulus and Remus, and a female, Khaleesi.
Colossal's claim
Colossal claims that the dire wolf pups are as genetically close to the extinct species as cutting-edge technology could get.

Not ugly enough for black people to want to breed them in their backyards.

yeah cause nothing can go wrong with a lab grown wolf that is bigger and stronger than what we currently have.
I’d be ok with keeping resurrected extinct species at zoos with controlled breeding but we should never re-introduce an extinct species into the wild. It could wreck havoc on an ecosystem. They’re extinct for a reason and that reason is usually due to their food source no longer exists. Dire Wolf fed on mega herbivores that all went extinct long ago

No worries, in the video linked they plan to have wooly mammoths by 2028

I would be ok with cloning about 5,000 of them and dropping them off in Iran very hungry and very angry and let them go!

This resurrected "previously lost species" was de-selected for survival and perished from the earth. With any luck, future scientists won't do the same with DNA from leftists.

They should resurrect Cro- Magnon, Wooly Mammoths and Saber Toothed Tigers so we can have gladiator nights

I doubt you are far off!

Yay, just what we needed. More Fn wolves

Does this mean that the Endangered Species Act and all regulations that rely on it are now null and void?
I think we could make that stick.
