The only thing incorrect is the idea that we would run out of oil. We have more known oil / petrol reserves today than ever before, and we keep discovering more.

I may have misheard but the “120 years” was referencing the infrastructure that’s been built around petroleum bot the supply remaining.

Because it is. Utter rubbish.

Global Cooling / Global Warming / Climate Change described to a T.
The amount of cucks on The Left that actually believe that Maurice Strong and Al Gore ever gave two fricks about the actual environment is absolutely laughable.
They were only out to globally shift (Globalism) how wealth was transferred. Any other way but Oil and Gas being bought with the US Dollar.

Yellowstone is getting interesting while the first two episodes post John's death were bouncing all over the place and really hard to follow. I've enjoyed the first two episodes of Landman but they don't have to use such foul language full time. A little is OK I guess but jeez, it's constant.
Have you ever hung out with oilfield baws?

Taylor Sheridan tells it like it is.
Too bad he takes great premises and starts of shows and runs them completely off the fricking rails by series end.

Was going to say oilfield guys likely curse at least as much as railroaders.
Which means it's toned down in the show.

Has Billy Bob ever voiced any political opinions? Not in character, but him personally. I would have guessed he was a typical lib but most of them would have refused that monologue and probably demanded counseling after reading it.
IDK his politics, but a great actor.
See his Roman a clef portrayal of Carville in “Primary Colors”. He’s spot on.

yeah that was pretty good. Other than that, I am learning so much about the "patch".

At least he acknowledges it's real. Republicans have been calling global warming a hoax for 50 years
No they haven't, what they've called a hoax is the left's approach to a "problem" that has existed since the dawn of time, climate changes and nothing we do is going to change that

Taylor Sheridan is a part of the creation of all those shows.

Man, I wish being a landman was cool as they portray it to be.

He also had a scene claiming our cancer rates aren’t because of the cigs his character smokes. It’s because of our food.

I think he said the patch workers made $180,000 so not sure what a landman makes, $500,000??? I might could put up with some crap for that much but it would probably take at least that to do what he does.

Can’t believe someone in Hollywood signed off on this scene.
Doesn't surprise me, Michael Moore recently produced a documentary calling out all the green energy scams, which is worth a watch.
The more intellectual liberals know at this point that most green energy projects are just graft to transfer tax money to wealthy corporations to piss away.

quote:Long before then, if humans still exist, we'll be mining the Moon for Helium 3. Theoretically, less than 1 gram can power a 3600 square foot home and throw in a 15,000 gallon pool, for a year.
Only thing I disagree with is I think the real number is we have about 400 years of supply left not 120. At the end of the day a majority of the green energy revolution is about stealing tax dollars and money laundering.
It's estimated that there's enough Helium 3 on the Moon to power everything on Earth for at least 300,000 years and do it in non-radioactive reactors that can be scaled down, safely, for autos and homes.
There are very tiny, small traces of Helium 3 on Earth, but since the Moon has no atmosphere or magnetosphere, the Sun deposits huge amounts of it on the Moon.

And they would suffer the most if anthropogenic global warming were real.
Besides oil we also have coal. Lots of it. The Germans made diesel and gasoline out of coal. We did a lot of research in the 1970's and the only stopping it was cost. But if the well goes dry we can do it.
Same for Devonian aged shales in the Knobs region of KY. Lots more oil there if the price is right.
