Maybe read just a little bit about Constitutional law and then get back to me.

What does it say about states rights?
I take it you're against other expressions of states right, or nah?

You think limiting government power is a social justice issue?

What "power" is being limited? The will of the people to choose their own issues using the legislative process?

You answer a question that wasn't asked.
The question that was asked was "Why does it bother you so?"

I'm conservative and semi-religious and I would have 100 percent voted against this.

So stupid. In a time where e pluribus unum should be embraced more and more, we do dumb shite like this.

It's a frickin' slogan for crap sake. Why do you lefties get triggered over...as you take it "dumb shite"? Do certain words trigger you also?

Louisiana is obviously out of any serious problems or issues to tackle. Just polishing a shining example of society with this law.

I think the issue is it's a waste of money and solves nothing

I'm not throwing away my money because it has the word God on it but throwing up a bunch of signs isn't going to fix any problems in the very troubled state of Louisiana

I'm not a leftist, and I'm not triggered, I just wish representatives paid for by my taxpayers could do something more important with their time.

Its actually a great idea. We have allowed the decency in our society and nation to be forced out to accommodate the trash in our society. frick the heathens. We need to teach God to our children and the ones that don't want it need to just shut the frick up and teach their little bastards what they want to at home.

I'm a nonbeliever but I'm more anti-left than anything else and if this upsets lefties, I say go for it.

It's a done deal.
The waste of money will come from the alt-left dipships who "Onward Social Justice Warrior" to the closest left wing dipshit lawyer and start crying about how offended they are.

i'm just asking if you support this bill tbh. and wondering if the bill states that the text must be in english. Otherwise the display could say:

In Deo speramus
nathiq fi allah
en Dios confiamos
etc

Umm...it could say that. It doesn't state "Christian God"...it states God. Period. To some it may be Jehovah..to another, their God may be Allah..to another, maybe "The Great Spirit" etc.

I think you may be stuck in a mental rut.

I can't seem to find my posts on this bill from when it was first proposed, but...

I have to admit, I'm pretty excited. This level of brazen stupidity is just the kind of thing that might finally shift SCOTUS from the position that the motto is simply rote ceremony at this point.

You're confused.

Again...a non sequitur. You know what else was voted on...and actually part of the Constitution?? States rights.

Again....you're confused.

My comment was aimed at someone else who said that this nation was founded on Christianity. My reference to the Treaty of Tripoli follows that line of thought.

I really hate it when idiots spout off logical fallacies like they actually know what they mean.
