Just to be clear, a president can ABSOLUTELY influence gas prices. We see this every cycle - especially when a R in in office and prices almost immediately go down. There's no question Biden all out assault on fossil has spooked the market, and paired with the lagging economy and inflation, its worse than ever.
The problem with Biden is he wants to take credit when its convenient to do so, and deny influence when its inconvenient.

Of course the prices have come down. Everything is so expensive people cant afford to do what they previously did therefore the demand for gas is down.

We wouldn't be seeing that extra $25 if elections weren't right around the corner. Gas prices would still be going up and will start going back up again as soon as the elections are over.

Anyone actually celebrating only paying $4.50/gal for gasoline instead of $5/gal when we were paying <$3/gal at the end of Trump's term, is just fricking retarded.
