That is what you get with know-it-alls that have never produced anything tangible in charge. He very clearly and concisely explains exactly why big oil isn't building refineries and is conservative in development of oil fields.

Even if all passenger vehicles were electric we would need oil for heavy machinery, lubricants , chemicals, tires, plastics, etc

It’s funny for multiple reasons
1.) He can’t make up his mind
2.) In context, he’s blaming oil companies for not investing billions in additional production, citing that they (accurately) think he wants to shut them down. “Hey man, that product you need to invest billions in to produce more of will be needed for 10 more years!” is a hell of a selling point
10 years is nothing for a giant industrial investment like that. What a clown.
