It's more likely that sarcasm can be hard to understand over text without knowing someone already.

I thought that last line about Biden having years of experience in the business world was a bit too over the top, but I guess not.

Flat tax is the only fair way to spread the pain.

I’m not sure why there is not more outrage over the fact that the government takes what you earn and basically pisses it away.

Crush the middle class with taxes and devalued currency while the elite gets richer and the poor get bribes in their checking.

The wealth gap in this country is problematic, to say the least, but can be somewhat mitigated by a reevaluation of taxation on the very top earners (aka, no one on the OT).

The Federal Income Tax was begun in 1913 and from it's inception has always been progressive (rich earners pay more than the poor earners). Ever notice how wealth divide has gotten progressively larger over that same time period? It's almost like the gov't and their wealthy sponsors are fricking the rest of us........ If the progressive income tax hasn't erased the wealth gap in over 100 years, why keep using it? Market conditions wouldn't allow for gaps like this.

When will the Left realize that "corporate" taxes are nothing but hidden double taxes on middle America? Where do you think middle America has their retirement plans and portfolios invested in? Corporations aren't mindless, soulless entities. They're people, who are already taxed individually.

But Joe did say that people's taxes would go up, not down if he was elected. At least he's not quite the liar that Clinton was.

Bubba Bill is a POS but that was HW Bush that said "no new taxes"

The end of this bull market is fast approaching. Spending is causing rates to rise and now one of the biggest tax increases in history. Do they not understand?

As I said, Bill got elected because of HW's statement. Then, Bill signed the highest tax hike in history.

Actually, it’s not.
Even a flat tax is theft. It takes money out of what you earn and under no circumstance is that fair. It is theft if I do it, if you do it, or the stranger on the street. It’s theft if a
Government goes it too.

The most fair way to tax people is through a consumption tax.
And one of the major side effects of a consumption tax is that it would reduce carbon emissions as it encourages people to conserve what they consume.

The sad part of all of this is that we’re going to have both a federal income tax and a federal sales tax in the near future.

I'm against corporate taxes. any.

I'm for ending the trump giveaway to the 1%.

I would tax all income sources for social security 7%.
