Having HS aged kids it is shocking how many kids think they are trans. Its double digits at a 5A school. However, from what I have seen ALL of them go back to being themselves when they grow out of that phase.
We know one family that had a boy (thought he was a girl) dating a girl (who thought she was a boy). Eventually these children realized how stupid that was and decided they were who they were born to be. Still dating.
It's become something fun to do. Kids will grow out of it if you let them and don't cut off anything or give them hormones.

The Right is nuts about its response to the decision by a MTF-TG to present in public as a female. WGAF?
The Left is nuts in thinking that it is even remotely equitable to allow a MTF-TG (physically larger and stronger than a genetic female) to compete against genetic females in athletic events.
In candor, the ONLY way to put a stop to the latter is for the elite genetically-female athletes (like Hamilton) to take this sort of stance. The problem is that most will not do so.
