Asking a regular citizen that is dumb.

The question is, why would (hypothetically) Tucker Carlson, or some other person that is already ultra rich.

Some blogger, sure.

I'd like to think there's zero chance I would sell out for money. Life is too short and you can't take it with you. My kids and their kids and kids' kids would be taught a horrible lesson on integrity that is not worth any price.

That’s because most people capable of being in politics have too much integrity to play the game. The result is Congress being filled with liars and grifters which compounds keeping good people out of

It’s never enough when your soul has no moral constraints.
They believe only in personal gratification whatever the cost to others or their”legacy”. Since they care not for what happens after they are gone.

I think some of them are actually chasing that “eternal life on earth” elixir that can only be obtained with unbounded earthly wealth.

And some are just stupidly evil.

Here’s the issue. If it’s a significant amount of money, then it would theoretically do significant damage to America.

So would I take any amount of money (let’s say $1 Billion) if that meant the downfall of America? No chance, and I’m sure 99% of people here would agree.

Wow. I just checked and AI tells me the peak 2019 clicks were about 750,000,000 per month. Now.....

Wait for it.....

Wait for it.......

36,000,000 per month.

Give them credit. They took the number 1 conservative website and completely trashed it. I really hope we find out one day what he was paid or how he was blackmailed.

No. Why do people already extremely wealthy in high positions continue to turn a blind eye or cooperate to get even more money? Because whatever you have never seems like quite enough. Just be content with what you have. Thinking you will set your family up for generations is a fool’s game. You are just increasing the likelihood they will be useless or drug addicts. I’ve seen it too many times. Also, I bet 90% of the people with lots of money still struggle with debt. No matter how much you have, people tend to live beyond their means doing and acquiring stuff that doesn’t matter and leaving themselves vulnerable when the rains come down.

Agreed, I would like to think no, but its impossible to know where that line is.

$20 million to push trans on kids?
No, not under any circumstances.

$20 million to push a senator who I privately think is a RINO?

Hard to say no to that...

There is a region of unknown until the moment comes.

Somethings cannot be bought, some can.

You just defeated the Gordian knot =

Those in power have direct control over inflationary conditions - all they have to do is print more money.

SO - if they are falling behind they lie, connive, and cheat to control the government so they get personal monetary advantage of any 'program' they introduce.

This gives them more money and increases inflation in the process - BUT the ordinary citizen is HURT by the inflation while they stay the same - and THIS gives them the desired advantage over ordinary citizenry.

There is no way honest citizens can keep up with the inflation when the crooked politicians enact laws that advantage themselves while leaving others struggling to keep up.

The fact that this conspirator engine needs graft measured in tens of BILLIONs is of no concern - the drivers of the whole scene 'keep up' and by comparison steadily increase their monetary advantage over the 'unkempt' peons.

just look at the 'success' of the Clintons - the most egregious grifter the nation hs ever known.

Neither of them could fend for themselves in ANY undistorted system. ALL they have is the gift of the griff.

I still feel guilt for taking a $5 bill out of my dad's wallet when I was 11 years old without telling him. I don't want money to compromise my principles. It's going to take duress for me to act against truth and my own morality.

For 20m I’d vouch for Kamala being the smartest person I know, Biden is actually extremely fit and functional, what’s between your legs has no bearing on sex, and of course I believe Chicago, New York, Portland, etc. to be a shining example of how things should be done.

No... I literally could not. What's $20M when your kids and grandkids inherit a 3rd world country, which is the end of the road of all this corruption.

The only reason why we aren't 3rd world yet is because of the middle class abiding by the law. The elite and the poor are no different here than in Africa, India, Eastern Europe or any other corrupt, malfunctioning country.

But once the middle class adopts a can't beat em, join 'em attitude, it all goes up (or down) in flames.

In accepting a bribe, I would consent to giving my children and grandchildren a legacy of chaos and shite, and I would have no credibility to speak out against it.

It's a more difficult decision for a lifelong committed conservative than for Matt Drudge. He didn't start the website as a way to go to war against liberalism (like Rush did with radio). Drudge was trying to find a niche market since all other news media outlets were left wing. Fox news did not exist till a year after Drudgereport started. He gambled on uniqueness and he won.

It’s because of THIS, you CANT take the money and tap dance.

If you do, how would you tell your daughter not to prostitute herself and your son not be a thief.

It’s the same thing.

Either we have integrity and honesty and lead for a better cause and higher purpose or we can be bought and used.

Dad’s can’t do this and then parent their child. A man of faith can’t do this because he answers to God.

It would depend on the narrative I was being paid to promote. If it were something that violated my faith, morals, or principles, I wouldn’t do it. But if it were something that benefited my fellow Americans, then I would.
