Bannon reports Yellen is in panic mode over Rs immovable position on the debt ceiling.

It was just reported on War Room the congressional Rs have informed the illegitimate regime their proposal on dealing with the debt ceiling and out of control deficit spending is the only proposal they're submitting.....deal with it!
It was also reported by Bannon that Yellen has been burning up the phone lines calling the members of the Corporatocracy, urging them to call these inflexible Americaa First/MAGA congressional members and persuade them to reach across the aisle, show bipartisanship....blah, blah, blah... It's very likely Yellen's Corporatocracy contacts and friends are telling her, they have no sway with the America First/MAGA faction of the Republican Party. Maybe things are slowly changing.

Normally I would dismiss this as bogus.
But war room is pretty accurate.
Hope they hold the line.
Mccarthy should tell yellen the line is transitory

If you give your kid a credit card and they keep hitting the limit do you just keep extending the limit or do you put your foot down and implement rules that cuts spending

You pay the bill regardless, no?

Bipatisanship is a one way street for Democrats: GIVE US WANT WE WANT AND YOU GET NOTHING IN RETURN!
The Republicans will raise the debt ceiling for future spending cuts/reductions.

Yes. Only this way you pay less.

hope it is true - I say the time for the bottom line is now - burn it all down NOW - it is going to self-immolate soon anyway with more dire results.
If we burn it down NOW - there may be some rational survivors who can built it back acceptably.
If we wait til all the moral people have been starved out - there will be no recovery
unless GOD sets us all back to Stone Age and provides for a full reset.
OR - He just gives up on this version of the 'Humanity Experiment' and shoves it all into the dumpster, returning His attention to those Alternate Universe Experiments which are still on a Pathway to Perfection (at which time Heaven will have been achieved and this Experimention is concluded) (other people may refer to This as the Rapture == this is my version of how it happens)

She knows she will have to actually work and be exposed if Rs actually stand strong.

I hope this holds.
Frankly, Team Biden deserves this considering their stance that the opposition needs to not only suck their dick but also ask “Want me to lick your balls too, daddy?”
When you blatantly signal that there is no room for negotiation, don’t be surprised if the other side stands firm.

When does it stop? Seriously. At what point do you stop feeding the addict?
With that said, Rs and just as addicted to endless money as the Ds are. So, I don't really expect them to default, but it's passed time we ended this and became fiscally responsible.

Maybe in the future.
The existing charges are already incurred, and that amount will be paid.

Whenever you decide to actually address the spending with your kid.
Doesn't change that you still have to pay the credit card bill. "I swear to god I'm going to default if you don't promise not to spend more than the limit in the future" is not leverage. Because you are going to pay the bill either way, or your finances will be wrecked.

I love how you are pretending we are dealing with something like a restaurant bill.

This bill provides for that - PLUS a little MORE
can't you read???
It INCREASES the debt ceiling
but it ALSO implies - \/ THIS \/
"OK - we've increased your allownance ONCE AGAIN!!! you little ungrateful shite.
BUT - we are telling you we are NOT going to pay for ALL OF YOUR WHOREs next year - NOR are we promising to give you a extra damned PENNY if you don't get off your LAZY arse and go out and find some kind of JOB other than selling crack to your addicts.
IF you want for us to keep funding 99% of your worthless lifestyle - you are going to have to pick SOMETHING that you will NOT waste it on next year.
Now - get to work or get the hell out.
you miserable little son-of-a-bitch == where was that ABORTION option when your worthless whore mother gave you birth "
/\ THAT /\ is what we are saying

And there is the lie. The Republican budget passed in the house services all debt. Stop being a liar.

SO - are you proposing that this really IS a "kid" vs "parent" analogy??
and YOU are in favor of giving the KID the veto power over what the NEXT YEAR's spending will be??
Don't you have this BASSAckward??
Isn't the CONGRESS the parent in this constitutional environment? (or are you admitting the constitution is still that thingy those old white sumpremests cooked up?)
methinks you have this bassakward

In your analogy, this is akin to raising the credit card limit, to get a cash advance to pay the mortgage.
Raising the debt limit allows for more borrowing to pay the ever growing expenses.
If they refuse to raise the limit, there is no reason they cannot continue to pay the CURRENT expenses. They may have to make cuts, however. OH NO.
