It obviously doesn’t prevent mass shootings.

There is a very high correlation between mass shootings and gun free zones.

Gun Free Zone signs have been extremely effective in advertising that there are defenseless victims waiting within that perimeter.

What was more important is that we did SOMETHING.

Airline HS is a block from my gym and my Starbucks. It has a big sign on the front door:

GUN FREE ZONE
Students and Non Students will be prosecuted

Logically everything on the planet can be divided into two groups... those things which are students and those which are non students.
My dogs, my espresso and my golf clubs are all examples of 'non students.'

Then why do mass shootings almost exclusively happen at gun free zones and not the local firearms range?

Gun free zones don't prevent mass shootings...they encourage them.

Walk me through a scenario whereby one might have done so.

Are you fricking kidding me?

Are you really suggesting that even one person that wanted to shoot up a school was deterred because the school was a gun free zone?

You should never post here again.

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen posted here in my 13 years on this board and I’ve seen a lot of dumb shite posted.

That’s not hyperbole.

Don't know of any criminals that changed their mind because a crime was against the law.

All the evidence we have is that mass shootings occur almost exclusively in gun free zones.

Pretty much the entire country is a “no murder zone” as well as a “no mass shooting zone”. That hasn’t worked out so well for us either.

The whole country needs to be gun free. One area means nothing while its guns running wild elsewhere.

Gun free zones attract crime.
