Don’t get me wrong I will hate the day Trump leaves office but a part of me can’t wait to see what the Dems will do. For 12-14 years it’s been not one single issue except hating Trump. They have all these idiots that only got elected and stayed elected because they stand up there and scream “I hate Trump”. It will be very interesting to see where their party goes.

I blame the National Enquirer. For decades it was THE newsstand tabloid. It was also highly profitable from the 60s through the 90s. I think the mainstream media realized it was much more profitable and probably more fun to make up the news and control the narrative. The National Enquirer can no longer compete because it now directly competes with msm.

I’m only half joking.

Trump didn't change their playbook. That's what they've done since at least Nixon. They've done it my whole life.

It's "Us & Them" populism. The left has subscribed to it for a lot longer than the right.

What Trump did do is serve as the focal point around which the right coalesced in their own descent into populism.

I’ve been wondering who all the self-loathing angry libs on social media are going to turn to when Trump’s no longer there to hate on.

The only way they will change is after several elections of losing seats. Then, just maybe they will have a come to Jesus moment. It's unlikely because the Commie wing of the party's answer will always be to go hard after whatever Republican is in power.

They'll do everything they're doing now, but it will be aimed at the next Republican nominee. They'll also continue trying to put Trump in jail. They won't stop hounding him until he's gone, and then they'll likely turn their eye to his kids.

This might shock you, but their strategy will be that Vance (or Rubio) is “TRUMP 2.0!” he is more facist-y and Hitler-y and will force white women to get pregnant and put blacks back in chains!!!!

You can see it coming from a mile away. And it will work on 49% of population. And my 82 year old mom will be worried that Vance will force her into being a human incubator because he’s a white nationalist.

Go after Rubio, Vance, or whomever the next man up is, continue to be obstructionists, and pander to the far left ... defending criminals, illegal aliens, and people who prefer protesting and screaming at the sky to a hard day’s work.

They’re not very selective.

Whoever is the next Republican party leader - the Dems and media (same team) hated Nixon, Reagan, GHW Bush, GW Bush - they have been the party of hate for 50+ years - the reason Trump is especially hated is because he's the first one to call them out for who they are and fight back.

I will take populism, aka nationalism, against any and all forms of "isms". Liberals will use words like "descent" to characterize any conservative movement towards true allegiance. MSM is just about done and its grease is stanky!!

They called John McCain the next coming of Jim Crow....until he hated Trump.

Point is, they are going to do this to anyone. They hate you. They want you silenced or killed. This is only going to get worse as they become more radicalized.

They’ve been very clear about the direction of the party.
You’ve focused on the hysterics surrounding TDS, but they’ve been extremely clear on the agenda.

New York, Minnesota, Chicago, California, Virginia…those aren’t isolated candidates.

The focal point will subside for a time (until a new one emerges) but the hatred will remain.

The Socialists hate “us”, those of us who do not wish to go in the direction they are wanting to take this country.

The MSM consists of people, individuals with names: Cameramen, writers, administrative staff, etc. They all work for the same cause.

The next republican presidential candidate will be painted as “worse than Trump”. Doesn’t matter who he is.

They’re not gonna just “turn it off”, it’ll be redirected because it’s who they are now
