My GM is transferring to Chicago in June. We are a nation wide Fortune 500 company and Chicago is our 5th larger location. It’s a huge raise for him and definitely creates him a path to climb even higher up the corporate ladder down the road.
The location is in rough shape. Our location has been the top location in the South Central Group basically since he took over here 3 years ago which is why they tapped him for the job. He asked me transfer up their with him because I have 25 years experience with the company and want me to help him recreate the same culture and energy we created down here. I turned him down. No way I’m living and working in that cess pool.
