Actually I think you are on to something there. I know you were going for being sarcastic by saying Are they trying to keep us from reproducing. The radical greenies think the human race needs to stop reproducing. At least as much as we do. They see the world as overpopulated and because of this we are do massive harm to Mother. They see mankind as a cancer that is destroying the planet. The more people the world has the more damage we do to the planet. That’s why they support abortion on demand up till the last minute. It’s why a lot of them support radical positions on eugenics. It’s why they want super high gas prices. Honestly that’s why most of these radical tree huggers are commies. No other form of government can give the leaders in charge enough power to crack down on the general population like communism can. Plus it keeps everyone poor. If you want to prevent climate change you can’t have the general population living free to do as they wish and making good money. The more financially sound people are the more people tend to wanna take the traditional route of getting married, building a nice house, starting a family, and dive big gas guzzling vehicles. These radical climate change idiots like AOC can’t have that so they want people to live poor and under the government boot. The more people they can get to abandon the nuclear family the better off the whole hoax works.

Takes 20+ years for that to happen - when the more affluent leftists flee a failed area they leave behind a class of people who can't flee, think low income workers, criminals, drug addicts, etc.
It just gets worse from there and that class of people slowly (and i mean slowly) trickles out. Eventually, what you said happens. But not until the demographics have adjusted enough that the area is essentially abandoned enough for different politics to take hold.
And all that takes decades. It's much, MUCH easier to ruin things than it is to build them up. Any moron can deface a priceless piece of art, but how many people can make said art?

It's more than depopulation. It's also about destroying traditional values and the will of the people. They want people to get fed up, feel hopeless, and just tune out. They also want to promote degeneracy so that people pursue base desires above all else, causing them to focus on themselves instead of what the rulers are doing.
It's no longer about money though. These companies are not making more money by focusing on 2% of the population. It is now about power. Progressive policies are statist policies, and the corporations owning statist politicians gives them more power. Excluding the people that want freedom and believe in self-responsibility increases their power.

I don't disagree with this or anything else you said. I am just wondering about San Francisco. Didn't its mayor recently pivot a bit on crime, etc., basically saying "seriously, can people stop shitting on the sidewalks!?! This is getting pretty gross!"
Just wondering how that's going.
