Those movies kinda sucked so a different direction is fine. That said, Henry Cavil looked the part thats for sure

While I haven't seen Black Panther, I have seen, and do enjoy, Michael B Jordan as an actor. I liked his role in Chronicle (great movie).
I think the frick given comes in at the apparent lack of standards. Turn a traditionally black character white and see what happens.
I personally do not care enough to have a say with respect to the standard, make it to where anyone can be anyone or make it to where the actors selected need to mirror the original characters more closely... Whatever... Just make sure its a standard and not, "It's ok when we're replacing a white character but not ok any other time". sort of deal.
