It’s been less woke, real crowds in the arenas, the superstars like Steph and Lebron are sitting at home, many of the series have been competitive going to 7 games, and it’s all teams that haven’t won anything in a long long time.
The only team with a big name star player in a big market (the Clippers) are down 2-1. All the other teams are non-traditional powers (Phoenix, Atlanta, and Milwaukee).
The success of this season’s NBA playoff is a big f u to the sports media that only cares about super star divas and big market teams.
I’m not a big NBA fan, but I have actually been watching a few games and paying way more attention to it than I normally would.

I miss the old 80s/90s NBA when the focus was the game and I couldn’t have really told you where Bird, Magic, MJ, Ewing, etc., etc.particularly stood on the issues of the day.
If people today are buying into and wanting to watch the MeBron, Kerr, Pop, CCP-directed league .... have fun.

The NBA is not an attractive product to me.

Remember when they said the NFL ratings were stronger than ever in the midst of the kneeling and then people started flying drones over the stadiums to show how empty they were. To think the media does not do the bidding of big business is very very naive.

They’ve also changed the ratings system, so comparing ratings today to 2019 isn’t apples to apples. And it’s still down.
