So I randomly emailed NC Tigah to get his feedback about a paper I’m writing. It was the first time I emailed him but it coincidentally was at the start of SFP’s ban, which I didn’t even know about at the time. Anyway, I stepped away from the board briefly and wrote a lot more of my paper (I’m sure that’s a total coincidence). I started posting again and then SFP was unbanned.
I don’t even like SFP. And our posting styles are so dissimilar that it’s almost offensive that you think we’re the same person. I have way more personality than him. Come on.

I'd honestly go further with it. Simply because one lone independent party can't stand up to the other big two. 3. 3 sounds good to me. With a total of 5 there can't be a tie. And that also gives the independents an edge against the establishment Dems and Pubs.

I know someone just like this. Says they are independent but always votes Democrat and is liberal. And their opinion, according to them, is always correct because they are independent.

I am devoutly anti-democrat. Increasingly more with each year that passes.
Idealoically, I agree more with the Republicans. I would stand up for what they claim they represent. If they would stand up and actually FIGHT.

I live in New Orleans. Everyone’s a democrat here. I went to high school with Stephanie Hilferty. She was a year ahead of me but we had English together a few years and were friends. I’m pretty sure she’s a Republican. She runs for stuff. I’d vote for her if she’s ever on my ballot.
I didn’t vote for anyone who holds any office in the city. I voted for Royce Duplessis who holds a state office. I think he’s the only office-holder in the whole country I actually voted for.

They are the exact same in that neither serve the average American.
Dems are more than willing to open the border and import 3rd world shitholers, while pushing mandates to destroy vehicles, support big pharma, etc.
Reps are all about funding trillions into the military, fighting some war, protect Israel at all costs, vote for every spending bill, act like they care about voting integrity, etc

First time Perot ran, I was still young and still believed in choosing the lesser of two evils rather than voting conscience and morals. I would still prefer to vote that way, but specifically Trumps last two runs, it was either a lesser or a much, much greater evil so for what I saw as the good of the republic, I voted Trump. Besides, looking back at his first term, if Dems didn't go full court press with media lies and judicial warfare, he could have done even better than he did. The Covid scam killed what was a pretty damn good term.

Sounds like we both tend to vote for losers a lot. Things I like, like true small government, are not very popular as a whole.

I have not voted in every election that will ever happen. There may in the future be a democrat worth voting for.

It is difficult to vote for anyone foolish enough to be associated with the Democrat party.
If they do that, then they are declaring themselves for just about everything I stand against.
Decency, honesty, fairness. All things foreign to democrats.

I feel like anyone who would run for office (lol that “office” autocorrected to “price”) is probably a crook or is deeply insecure and susceptible to manipulation/corruption.

I vote for whoever I believe will accomplish the most significant or largest amount of things that I personally support and believe in. That has been people from both parties and on occasion independents. Sometimes I do give in to what modern political strategists want us to do and vote to stop someone I think is particularly vile, stupid, damaging, or some combination of the three.
I have in the past voted for people I heavily disagree with on many issues because I think the items they can actually get done are important and have doubts they can accomplish the parts of their agenda I don't agree with.
I think I would call that voting based on expected outcomes if I had to summarize.

I jumped ship only twice once for Ross Perot and Joe Lieberman (CT senator). Otherwise the Dem's scare me, i.e., socialism and open borders. I can't even fathom the thought of a government potentially doing away with private home ownership . . somthing I worked hard for all my life.

I've been straight Republican ticket since was I was old enough to vote.
Like you've said, the Republican Party has it's problems, but there's nothing the Democrats have been selling that I can get behind. If that changes, then I could be swayed, but I dont' expect it to.

Kinda agree. I mean the average human doesn't really feel the need to govern the masses. The political class gives people like psychopaths a legal avenue to exert themselves over others.
